Several hoses that run through our front yard are connected to a drip irrigation system where they cross a path. I purchased this protection to protect hoses like that. It does exactly what it's meant to do, since nothing heavy will roll over it. However, I don't think the yellow flip-up channel cover would hold up very long for that application because it is rather flexible and is not nearly as thick and sturdy as it could The yellow piece can be bent with just a finger press on the Although it would have been ideal if it was sturdier/stronger, it probably would not stand up to cars driving over it without the yellow piece at the very least breaking and rendering the whole structure.

NEMA 14--a nema that is extremely thick There is no problem fitting a 50 extension cord in here. If you need two, you can put them together. Using it under one of the cars, the car is able to go in and out of the garage with no problem. There's a horrible smell before a month, even in the garage, but after a month most of it's gone. Several months have gone by, and I've not noticed much of the smell. In case your nose is more sensitive than mine (but you may be lucky).
Even if you are going to use it indoors, I suggest you leave it outside for a few months before using it. The only issues I have are two small ones 1. After being run over a few times by the car, the pin holding on to the cover keeps sliding out. In order to fill them back in, I have to stuff them. The loss is not too great even if they slide out completely. I have trouble anchoring this thing to the floor, since it is so big and heavy. After I run over it, my car keeps moving it out of the designated spot. My dad uses it as a guide for me to park the car in the garage, so it's a bit irksome for me. As soon as it moves too far back, I will close the garage door on the bumper of my car. Despite attempting to clean the floor a bit more, it just won't come into contact with anything.

The rubber pieces that were not removed from the hinge holes had to be removed by hand, and this item was shipped in an enormous box, even though it was in its own cardboard packaging, even though it was rated for being run over by a car. Besides that, it's rock solid, the cord channels are generously sized, and I can't think of anything I can do to break or damage.

A good structure for the price, but make sure you use or store them in an outdoor location or a well-ventilated area in order to avoid rotting. There is a bad smell in the building. It has been about 2 months since they were delivered and the smell, although better, is still unpleasant if you are in 10ft of them.

Despite the fact that we own two electric cars, the charger is on one side of the garage because of space limitations. If the other car is charging, a cord must be run across, behind one of the cars. Eventually, we got tired of running over the cord for good so we decided to fix the problem. Despite their steepness, these ramps protect the thick charging cable very well, because they have to utilize the necessary space to accommodate it.
