For the area in front of my driveway, I purchased several of this item to act as a water diversion system. As a result of my sloped drive, I was bringing water into my garage during heavy downpours. Basically, they are speed bumps and are not meant for this use. As far as their role as speed bumps goes, here is what I like. Besides being well made, they are also well-designed. This type of rubber is heavy. A large spike is driven into the ground at several spots to act as an anchor. Ideally, they connect with each other and give you the flexibility of lengthening or shortening a speed bump as you see fit. Finally, you can move them to another location at a later date if you need to. The quality of the designs are excellent and I think they will last for many years.

Our speeding neighbor's psychotic behavior was completely put to an end. It has brought me such joy to receive this speedbump. An idiot wants to speed and is now unable to do so! You should buy it. I am in love with this because we didn't screw it to the street and it looks It is hard to drive over because the road is so heavy.

One car in particular felt the need to just drag down the alley and just blow out all the houses. I say it was a win for us because she started to come toward us after we put them in, but as soon as she saw them, she quickly turned away and went the other way. There are garbage trucks that drive over them and they don't seem to be affected in the least.

The gravel road in a subdivision was to be paved with 2 of these. There are probably 30 cars that run over them every day. I bought long spikes about 16 inches long from Lowes to anchor them to the road. I have had them for about 8 months now and they hold up fine. Pieces are held together by four nails. It was a simple 20 oz hammer to pound them down.

This is an excellent product!
We just put two of these under our electric gate to keep the next-door cats off. Chihuahua is being let out of the door. I really like the way they work! They are nice and heavy. Several times when you drive over them, they can move a little bit, so we'll install stakes to keep them in place.
