The bottom setting of my 6 year old's seat means he can't touch his feet on the ground. With my height of 5'9", I am not able to touch my feet fully to the ground.
There is a lot of weight in the base. There are 20 or so lbs. of weight in this chair. However, it does have a handle on the back of the seat under the cushion, allowing it to be easily carried.
There is a hydraulic release strap on the seat that allows it to be raised or lowered.
The cover is made of some kind of fake leather.

To keep me engaged while I work at the drafting desk, I bought this novel. There is no truth to the question about it's stability. There is no stability in this stool, as it wobbles. As an added benefit, the core muscles will be strengthened while sitting at the office. Despite being a little short for it I should be able to use it since there is a little step from the stool to me. As long as the setting is high enough for me to stand next to it and lean a little into it, I like it. Unlike a traditional chair, I am able to work longer when I am using a drafting table. Furthermore, it is more space-saving and allows me to move around my workspace at a faster pace.
My only complaint is that the cushion and adjustability are great, however, I am short (5' 3") so my feet have to be on the tip of the stool when sitting on it Standing with one foot on the ground. If I could lower it so that my feet are flat, I will be able to improve my posture and comfort.

I appreciate how easy this stool was to assemble and how quality it feels. I like how it is comfortable and that it allows me to rest my feet while using my standing desk without having to lower the whole thing completely. In addition, it hasn't slipped when I have used it directly on my vinyl plank floor.
There is a lot of functionality in the handle. It takes a bit of getting used to since it is not your typical Thanks for making such a great product! I absolutely adore it and believe it's worth its price!.
With it, I can paint and draw at my easel as well as my drafting table. A chair like this is not really meant to be used for sitting or standing. It is made to stand, lean, and rock so that is.
However, there were several things I did not like about it, such as putting my feet up and sitting on it without balancing myself, although the comfort of having stand up as well as seated was great.
As a teenager with four children, I see this chair as an ideal solution for dealing with the long hours of online school.
