They're sturdy and look nice. It was important that the garage had something simple yet durable. So far I am very pleased with how the stool functions, but I can't say anything about its longevity since I've only had it a few days. However, we used the same type of stool at work and they held up well in a machine shop. There were separate bags in the box for the extension legs and screws that come with the stool, which is a standard 24" model with rubber feet attached. I don't need more height than 24 inches at the moment, so this is fine. When I need to raise the height, I just need to remember where I put the extendable legs. I was pleased with the packaging and the stool was in good condition when it arrived. In order to enjoy better comfort, you may want to consider padded models if you plan to sit on them for a long period of time.
Make sure you read all the fine print before you buy! The product is made up of two metal pieces on each foot sandwiched between a plastic piece. A second day of use caused it to break off for me. Unfortunately, I was only able to snap the metal cap back on the plastic/nylon, but I am unsure what will happen if we use the stool in the future. This stool looks like it might hold up in a public setting, but I wonder if it actually can. I can see that this product is pretty well made in all other areas, but the fact that a piece broke off after the second day and that it's made of plastic or nylon leads me to believe that it's not as durable a product as they claim. The thing I wish was different was whether they did not cut corners and just charge more for better components, like an all metal component, instead of just cutting corners and charging a few dollars extra for it. If it were top notch, then it would be. The product being sold here is made in China, and there are heavier, more durable, and more convenient restaurant stools on the market that are made in the U. S. Budget Bar Stools is a company that sells bar stools. Next time I make a purchase, I will consider them. As a result of the reasons listed above, I do not recommend this stool from National Public Seating to anyone. Otherwise, it feels like a good seat.
Having no seat cushion to tear and feeling comfortable enough is exactly what I was looking for in a chair.
I think it's good enough for a I was not looking for the most comfortable shoes, but none of those things mattered. There has been some discussion about how challenging it is to remove the legs' caps. I am not sure why it would have been assembled like this.
Most of us have sat on this exact stool at some point in our lives. It is a reliable stool that is inexpensive.
My husband bought these to put in his man cave. It gives him great pleasure to know that he made the right choice. This is a very sturdy product.
We can crack black walnuts in our basement with no problems at all.
This is a durable product.
