Before I bought anything, I had a few questions: Is it possible that the stairs are slick? Is it slick at all on the feet? Is it safe to fold when it's open? I can attest to the fact that neither the steps nor the feet are slick, and it is extremely secure when open. The ridges on the steps provide surprising traction, and the feet, which are made of a softer PVC and have small knobs on the bottom where they contact the floor, also provide surprisingly good traction. The stool is simple to unfold and fold, and when open, it is extremely secure. I have the three-step version, and the top step is wide and deep enough for me. The folded depth is exactly what it says on the package. The design is sleek and modern, but it does not have an industrial feel to it. Overall, it was better than I had anticipated, and I would strongly recommend it.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this small ladder. We recently relocated to a home with a 9-foot ceiling height. Everything seems to necessitate the use of a ladder, from the ceilings to the walls. We were planning on getting the 2 step but decided on the 3 step instead. We're very happy we did. I have several ladders, but none of them are as simple to use as this one. The top step is very wide and stable, and it unfolds in the expected direction rather than backwards. It folds down to a very small size and can be easily stored behind a door, for example. Since it arrived, I've been trying to figure out how to use the ladder. It's one of my wife's favorites because it's light and simple to use. I would strongly suggest it.
This is an excellent ladder. ON HEIGHT WHEN THE LADDER IS FOLDED, THE DESCRIPTION IS WRONG. 46 inches, not 42 inches, is the correct measurement.
br>Folding and storing is no longer a struggle, the wide steps provide good support and balance, and delivery was quick; I would give it double five stars if I could.
WHEN MY BOAT IS BEACHED, I HAVE USED THIS AS A BOARDING LADDER. VERY SOLID AND PERFECT FOR STORAGE DUE TO THE LENGTH. WHEN A HEAVY PERSON IS BOARDING, IT NOW WOBBLES. WHEN YOU'RE NOT BOATING, YOU CAN ALSO USE IT FOR HIGH SHELF WORK.
This is what we use in our kitchen to get to the higher cabinets. It's light, folds up small enough to fit in our closet, and appears to be durable.
This is the ideal step ladder for indoor use. When folded, it is light, easy to fold, and takes up little space.
First and foremost, I appreciate how light and durable it is. When used at the highest level, it has a rail across the top for added stability. With his ladder, I can also adjust the lighting in rooms with 9-foot ceilings. Perfect for a 5'9" man who needs to reach items on the top shelf.
