Despite being what I needed, the ladder is not as good as I had hoped, as the top rung comes loose when folded, and not all of the rungs close tightly. In addition to knowing how ladders work, you should also know how they work. The process starts at the bottom and works its way Hold the bottom of the rung with your foot and pull the rungs up to your height, leaving a bunch at As it would put extra weight on the bottom of the ladder so that it distributes the weight more evenly (bottom heavy as opposed to top heavy) I would have preferred top down.
If you do not do this on a level surface the ladder will twist, possibly causing you to fall. I DO NOT suggest you use this ladder! The reason why I cannot return it is because I didn't need it for a month after I ordered it and now I'm stuck with it. My only positive review of it is that it folds neatly, and that's all I can say!.
Taking up little space and being very portable, this ladder is ideal for small spaces. Collapsing the telescope is easy, but telescoping it out is a bit tricky. There is a sense of flimsiness to them. They were a shortcut to the attic that I sometimes used. The hands would not be able to handle heavy loads or The climbers shake when they get up.
Using these telescopic ladders daily is a necessity for me as a wiring contractor. A model and brand of this particular model and brand were the most recent purchases I made. The product only lasted two times before it broke, and there were no special features. If you will be picking this ladder up for light home projects then it is not recommended.
This is the one I decided on after some research. A ladder this stable and heavy is difficult to tip over (I weigh 200 pounds). To open and close the ladder, you must follow the instructions detailed in the instruction. There is almost like an air bubble when the lid is closing, which slows it down so your fingers won't pop. Small enough to fit in my locker and to stand by itself. Easy to use and easy to store (half the height of my 8 ft ladder). I haven't run into any problems yet in the second day of usage, I will follow up if anything goes wrong. I for one would recommend buying it.
As soon as the telescopic feature was used a second time, it broke. As it was past the return date, there was no point in sending it back. This is also a heavy item.
This ladder can easily be carried in a RV or the trunk of a car or SUV. The rod can be extended and retracted with ease.
Although it works like it should, I feel it is not as sturdy as I would like, I guess that may be because I've only ever used fixed ladders in the past, but, there is a lot of play in the stiffness, which is not what I'm looking for.
