In order to extend this 6, it takes about 30 seconds. Sometimes it may take me about 40 seconds to climb the 6FT ladder fully. I am about 63 years old. I am 8 inches and 119 pounds now, without muscles, and I am ok to extend the ladder in everyday life. If you are much more strong than me, I guess it will take you less time. Just to give you an idea. We hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes, Terokota Support

It was just what I was looking for. My SUV is equipped with a Thule roof cargo box (XL) and I wanted a lightweight ladder that would be sturdy enough to access it. As I inspected the various telescopic ladders, I decided this one would be best. The seat was exactly what I wanted, arrived quickly, was light and comfortable, stable and didn't take up much space in the trunk, and was not very bulky. My 200lb husband felt safe while seated It was so easy and smooth to raise and lower that he even complemented me on Make sure your fingers don't get pinched!.
There is no way to control the position of the two locking buttons on the rungs. It is lightweight, easy to extend, but there is no way to double check whether they are securely seated. This is the 6-pack I bought It is an 8-ft ladder that works well. My fear was climbing it because I am older and infirm. Although it was solid, it did not fall down. In the end, I had to rely on the manufacturer's promise that each rung has a locking mechanism.
The ladder that came with my Volkswagen Vanagon is just what I needed to access the roof. Despite its small size and lightweight design, it is durable and easy to stow inside the van. Considering I didn't want a bolt-on ladder, I found it to be an all-purpose ladder that was affordable I'm happy I bought it. It was a good compromise.
I like this ladder very much. One of the best things about it is that it's easy to move and only requires you to lift the steps to the height required. The ladder on this one does not have to be opened completely to the entire height, unlike some other telescope ladders.
The handle is of the perfect size, as it fits nicely in the passthrough and helps clean the slide out top. For RVers, this is a must-have.
I like how easy it is to set up and close and that it gives me a sense of security.
The fact that it is so compact and light makes me love it. Originally we bought it for our camper, but we've used it several times in the house as well.
In addition to being well made, the ladder is easy to use and easy to store.
