Is it safe to use this on the ceilings of a finished home? We live in Mexico, where the summers are hot and the roofs are cement slabs. ?

This cannot be installed in a living space that is open to the elements. It must be drywalled over.

Yes, it's made to fit 2x6 wall and ceiling framing.

Insulation that is dripping wet

pathetic. To add insult to injury, the price is $80. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please It was dripping water, and it was dripping water even worse than a washcloth. I'd gotten myself into a lot of trouble. Regardless, I can't put this crap in my house, defeating the purpose of no star rating but having to choose onebr>. br>Installing soaked insulation isn't ideal, and I'm afraid I won't be able to do it today. No star was ripped off.

You can get this for a third of the price at your local big box DIY store, but the convenience of having it delivered is incredible, so if you only need one roll, it can be a great deal! br>br>Owens Corning has been around for a long time, but the fiberglass dust (literally spun glass fibers!) has only recently become popular. ) can enter your lungs and remain there indefinitely, slicing your lungs open until scar tissue forms around them. Make sure you're wearing a good dust mask, not a COVID cloth mask, but one that can catch even the tiniest dust particles. Wear goggles and a full painter's suit with gloves taped to the cuffs if you want to be extra comfortable, and do it in the winter so you don't die of heat exhaustion in a hot attic. br>br>(Of course, some people swear by Johns Manville insulation, but they don't have the Pink Panther to promote it!.

I had intended to use this to insulate our garage, but we haven't had the opportunity to do so yet; however, it appears to be of good quality! I'm really looking forward to having our garage insulated. We'll get our own "Man Cave" one day. Someday.
