How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Adjustable up to 16 inches *FLEXIBLE ADJUSTMENT* You could cut a 5' long strip (about 5 meters) to fit your threshold if you are less than 5 meters from the floor. Three-and-a-half inches (3. 16 inches) in width. This is a 5ft long piece of plastic.
In addition to keeping your garage cleaner, drier, and quieter, the 1/2" tall profile creates a tight seal with your door. It's ideal for homes and businesses with attached garages because it saves energy. This does not include sealants and adhesives.
A product made with flexible rubber, durable material, energy saving and with outstanding durability. Epdm Rubber is designed in particular to withstand extreme temperatures, punishing weather conditions, and being driven on every day. In the event this seal is properly installed, it will not crack, dry out, break or shift.
The length of every seal is measured slightly longer so you have the exact length you need.
We are committed to providing customers with a 100% satisfaction guarantee from their shopping experience with 180-days warranty backed up by friendly customer service. Our customer service is available to you at any time, whether the inquiry is pre- or post-sale.

Questions & Answers

Is there a product that works best for sealing ?

In order to apply pressure to the trim, I lowered the door after I applied Liquid Nails outdoor construction adhesive.

So the water doesn't drip onto the sideboards, I don't want to stick it and I just want it to sit on the floor outside of the shower. Can I use it without caulking or gluing?

This doesn't sound like a good idea. A glue-less fix wouldn't hold it in place without running water under it, and it isn't heavy enough to stay in place without gluing

Are there any specific trades you would hire for the installation?

The installation can be done on your own. Anyone local handyman should be able to do it for you without any problems if you do not have the skills yourself or if you do not want to. A similar system I installed last year was at my son's home on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Any time he had directly hit his double-sided garage door with a windblown rain, he experienced water seeping into his garage. There have been no problems with this product since I installed it.

What happens if ice gets caught between the garage door base and the seal when it gets cold? Will the ice stick to the seal material?

The material has not been tested in South Carolina yet due to the freezing temperatures, but I would think the material would be okay. A rubber material similar to that of automobile tires would be suitable. There is no equal to it when it comes to durability. When the temperature is that low, the garage door is likely to be closed anyway so there is no chance for water to get under the

I like the fit and the installation was easy
4/5

Within the next day, I received eight feet of the first order. It's impressive how quickly this was delivered. In order to insulate and close off the bottom of the steel door of a 2-car garage, I needed to have something that would do both. Due to wear and tear and shifts in the driveway, there was a gap starting to appear. It was the first item I ordered and I didn't pay attention to its length. The ad I originally thought was for a standard to care garage, but I was wrong. Before you begin, be sure to measure your space since more might be required. In order to account for the additional footage, I ordered an additional. I had no problems installing it. Place the rubber on the ground, and then place the garage in place to ensure there is proper contact between them and to ensure the insulation is proper. Mark this A package without adhesion does not exist. Later, I put the rubber on top of the exterior liquid nails. As soon as the garage was down, I waited for it to dry. I like the way this works. My garage is no longer visible because the gap is no longer visible.

I have never spent more money than I did on this trip
5/5

In the middle of a very rainy spring, torrential rain with four inches of rain in an hour & a half was the last straw In the garage, as I was checking it during a storm, the floor drains couldn't handle the water that was coming in under the door The floodwaters are deep at the ankles. I am 67 years old and I have no children. In the form of a petite female, I was pushing water out the back door for 2 hours, until the drains were able to handle the flooding. Those are the thresholds I saw & Even though I've only had them for two days, I haven't even been able to apply the adhesive. The only thing I can tell you is this I was completely dry in my garage after the next two storms this week. This product has a very reasonable price and is of excellent quality. We give you peace of mind, and that is priceless.

You don't need to glue it down for it to work
5/5

It was a windy day so we had trouble with the wind Water intrusion on the bottom of the overhead door because of a torrent of rain coming from the South. In order to test whether it would work, I cut it to fit between the door tracks and put it in place before gluing it. It kept the water from seeping into the garage, even though the bottom of the seal is not yet glued down, when we had some severe weather come through with wind and rain. I can drive my truck over it and it will stay in place. The glue might not be enough to hold it in place. Winter is a time when I need to squeegee snowmelt from the garage, so I'd like to have it out of the way. Whatever method I choose, I am satisfied with the results.

It is useful for many purposes to have garage threshold strips
5/5

The real use I put this to was for a screen porch door and a window. Each of the concrete slabs under the doors is slightly out of whack with the concrete patio. Door sweeps need to be adjusted, otherwise they scrape horribly and closing the door will be difficult. Under each door, I installed a piece of this product, adjusted the sweeps to be flush with the threshold strip, and there are no gaps or I love it!.

Excellent product
5/5

Does a good job of keeping the rain out of my garage since the driveway is higher than the garage floor. Use a water-proof adhesive to ensure a tight seal. Installation is easy just follow the instructions.

A good product, although there were some quality issues
3/5

In terms of ease of installation, it worked well. When I put the adhesive and tried to push it down on the lip it just kept curling up. The only issue was some curling in spots on the lip that stuck outside. As the adhesive set, I had to use something to hold the piece down.

It is a great sealant for garage My garage door gets wet from rain more than once a year and I have trouble with water getting under the door
5/5

I received this product as a recommendation and decided to try it. Despite the fact that it is made well and flexible, I found it to be quite durable. It was installed with Liquid Nails adhesive and left to dry for 24 hours. I'm really happy with how it looks!.

Getting a garage door open on an imperfect concrete floor is difficult
3/5

We used this strip to seal the bottom of our garage door, and it worked like a charm. Originally installed in 1950, the floor has been refinished A significant amount of concrete had been lost (loss of concrete) in one area causing a dip of approximately 1" in that area of the slab. A dry environment I trimmed the strip to fit the gap, but still there was an open area, so I leveled it with my fingernails The mortar needs to be leveled. Although the result was better and removed the space, the floor strip was still no good. And that is the problem - it wasn't perfect. It may be difficult to glue all of the front/back edges down since there will be issues if the floor is not perfectly flat. I had a difficult time gluing down all of the edges since they would lift up anywhere there was a In the end, the liquid nails (which were recommended) did not stick well, and I had to weight down the edges with weights to flatten them, and even tried using I am not satisfied with the result There is no problem with the door seal, but the edges are dirty. This is a very complicated software to install and I would recommend you not to do it unless you have perfect installation conditions.
