Excellent product at a low price. Our door is a good fit for the door knob and was very easy to measure and cut. In this case, the door sweep is the same price as other similar products, but there are only one. This week, the first door sweep will be installed on another door. Before you install, ensure you measure and cut the necessary pieces. Once you've installed it, trimming it will prove to be a lot more difficult. attempted to trim a small portion of the material after installation, but the material is pretty firm and cannot be.
Having this cut and sized to fit my door was a breeze. I managed to make it slightly out of level with the floor, so there is still a slight strip of light coming through. The reviews I read said the adhesive ruined the door to remove and adjust, so I wanted to be careful and get it right the first time. I didn't want it too high and pull away from the door everytime it was opened and shut, so maybe I over compensated a little. I have not noticed a difference in the temperature of the room as a result of this device. My gap is a little bit less than the claim, but it is still enough to create a temperature difference if that is what it is supposed to do. As such, I cannot say whether it helps with temperature, but I can say that it helps with light entering the house/room and preventing dust from entering. I was able to stick it and cut it very easily. If it is flush to the floor, just make sure it is.
As someone who has a litter box next to my front door, I wanted to avoid any kind of smells coming through the door, and the door thingy helped with that, but it didn't help with the sound at all--I can still hear everything going on in my home.

That's great! This does exactly what it claims to do. As an owner of a door that has gaps between the frame and the closed door, I could feel drafts coming through so I bought a pair of these and adhered one at the bottom as shown and one on the side. These can be glued pretty much any way you'd like, and they are easy to cut as well. There is a door draft stopper that has the foam roll design but was not as effective as these ones. There is one caveat to these, however, in that if you have carpet, it'll be a little more difficult to open and close since the door rubs against it, but it's not a major problem. It's a great idea to check these out.
Since the floor is concrete and not perfectly flat, the draft stopper either rides up under the door, stopping it from opening, or I have to leave a gap below the draft stopper in order for the door to open. There is neither an optimal solution nor an airflow solution, but I selected the door stick and it does seem to reduce noise. I actually like the adhesive strip quite a bit. Although I pulled it off and reapplied it a few times in the hopes of getting it perfect, it still worked.
If you have a pet, please do not order. We literally had it up for an afternoon before we were forced to take it down by our cats. In addition to the one cat lying on it fur and all, the book showed no signs of damage other than the way one of the cats ripped it to shreds. It was at that point that the adhesive became ineffective. The fact that they got it off so easily tells me they didn't have to exert a lot of effort. I thought the idea was nice and I liked the way it looked. Unfortunately, the adhesive is not so great, and now my money has gone down the drain.
