It is not round in the intake

There is an oval shape to it. As a mounting device for this fan, I've used a hard plastic 4 inch flange. The intake part of the iPower 4 inch inline fan is round, but the fan crossbar is too wide, and the intake part of the fan has an oval shape that does not fit If the flange were more flexible, I am not sure it would even work without cutting and sealing up the opening with duct tape (if it was aluminum). The error can either be caused by a production error or a basic engineering Those who return the unit will be reimbursed.

broke, it relied on adhesive to hold the blade to its rotating rod, and when it got too hot, it snapped. As a result I am returning it and would highly recommend looking for something else. I had it for 8 days and it gave out in 90 degrees F.
