I think 24 volts for the coil is fine.br>12 volts through the relay contact is fine, but I won't go over 10 amps. NB relay contact is a dry (isolated) contact, which means it can have a voltage that differs from the coil voltage. br>It is my hope that this information is useful.
The output is always in sync with the input. There is no way to control dwell time through latching, inching, or any other means. It does the job well, but if you require inching, a programmable microcontroller with those capabilities is recommended. The $8 Adafruit Latching Mini Relay Featherwing module, which has only one channel but can be easily stacked on an Adafruit Feather microcontroller, such as the $20 Feather HUZZAH32, to make arbitrarily-sized relays. a lot of relay assemblies
Have you checked the ohms across the output contacts with a meter? br>br>If you have 24 volts dc, supply the in put (assuming this is a 24 dc relay, which requires 24vdc)br>If it is 12 volts dc, supply that.br>br>If all of this has been done, then something on the relay board may be defective.

If you want to install a Nest Thermostat in your RV, you'll almost certainly need this item. Once removed from the green bracket, it's small enough to hang on the wall. Use with a 24 volt transformer connected to the Nest, which will output 24 volts to the relay, which will then use your existing 12 volt DC to send a signal to your AC unit.
On the product web page, I overlooked the selector box where you must choose between a 12V or 24V module. This listing is actually selling two different products at the same time. The 24V model came with a pre-installed battery. I didn't realize it until I got it because it didn't come with any documentation. The unit would light up the LEDs on 12V input, but the relays would not energize. br>br>Eventually, I figured out that there were two different products and I had ordered the wrong one. I believe they could have been more specific in the product description because it stated both 12V and 24V. The product itself bears no indication that it is 24V-compatible. only. Furthermore, shipping the product with minimal documentation would have alerted me to the problem before I wasted several hours testing it in vain. Because of the poor pre-production, I docked one star. as well as after-sale communications br>br>I tested the module with 24VDC and it appears to be in good working order. The 24V model, on the other hand, will remain in my inventory because it appears to be a high-quality product. It's a good unit, and I'm hoping to find a use for it one day. Please split this Amazon product page into two separate listings or clarify the description to say 12V ***OR*** 24V.
It worked fine with all NO channels turning on the same switch because the other channels didn't have to back haul the power to the source. When the NC channel was used to turn on a different switch, however, it reversed and activated other relays in the same way that the trigger did. That meant I'd need two relays instead of one.

The product's quality is excellent and trustworthy. It has been working without a hitch for the past two months. The LED indicators are helpful in determining the status of the signal.
When converting an analog thermostat to a smart 24vac Nest thermostat in a 12vdc 5th wheel trailer, I used this product. As a supply, I used a 120v to 24vac xfmr spliced from the main AC feed. It was an excellent solution. Others who had completed similar tasks had created custom wiring diagrams, which were found on the internet. br>br>It would be nice to have a small box or cover for it because I had to mount it exposed on the wall. Otherwise, you'll have to find a way to put it inside the wall.
