Questions & Answers

Is there a wire attached to this product? Is there no evidence of wires in this ?

Yes, all the blowers and motors are wired in connection with the blowers. There are no wiring diagrams on the manufacturer's website I think it's because they assume most people will understand where the wires go, otherwise how would one connect it? Considering Joey's answer, it makes no sense for him to order any motors.

This part looks like the Goodman inducer part 15622. Will it work? Thanks a lot. ?

Neither I nor anyone else knows. -223075- is the Goodman part number I have

A 150-word description ?

The fet I have on my GKS9 is It was the same as Jakel J238-RFB501 (22307501) A 150-word description It's 152293 that was on my inducer motor, and it had to do with that.

It's my Fasco J238 I have been told that the 150's blower is facing the opposite way. What can I use to replace it?

My pleasure, thank you for taking the time to ask! We will need the brand name of your equipment along with the model and serial numbers off the unit, not the part, in order to locate your part. (By "Unit," we mean the complete furnace or air conditioner or appliance)*br>Hope to hear from you soon. I appreciate your help and it has been a pleasure! I wish you all the best, Sarah*br>North

The good husband in me turned her down and ignored her
5/5

Generally, I don't write a lot of reviews, but I did want to add another positive vote to the other DIYers who have already reviewed this inducer. While I had not noticed, my wife did notice the furnace was making a strange noise at startup, so I dismiss her and ignore the issue. Our house was pretty cold one afternoon on the day before a huge blizzard was forecast for our area a few weeks later. Upon checking the thermostat, I found that the temperature was below set point by several degrees. The inducer motor started turning slowly when I turned it by hand on the furnace after hearing the buzzing noise my wife had reported and I changed its direction slowly as well. It then accelerated and the furnace fired up. As I tried moving the shaft, it felt impossible to do so, so I pulled the fuses and cracked open some bottles of WD40 which helped loosen up the shaft. Then I realized it had gotten stuck since that loosened it up quite a bit. Once I oiled it and blasted it out a bit more, I figured I had solved the problem. In the morning, we awoke again to a cold house so I gave our furnace a fresh start with WD40 and started researching a few things. received a quote between $500 and $600 from an HVAC guy Installation is included in the $600. 00 cost of the part. Researching further, I concluded that this part would be what I needed and ordered it with 2 day shipping, so that I would hopefully have it in hand on Friday when the snow was supposed to start. In the meantime, I had my existing inducer thoroughly cleaned and oiled. On Friday, the part arrived as promised and was put on a shelf in the garage since it seemed to be working with the last lube job. After waking up to a cold house again yesterday, I decided that it was time to replace the inducer, so I switched to WD40 jumpstarts. In reality, it is an easy job, as others here have said. For my furnace I took a couple photos with my phone so as not to lose them in case I forget where something goes, but honestly, I only had one hose to the air pressure switch, one white wire, one black wire, one green ground wire, and one hose clamp. In addition to the time it took me to unbox the new device and clean up some wiring with zip ties that I thought was sloppy during the original installation, I guess it took me about 15 minutes in total. By shipping the product in two days, I was able to save $400-$500 A 500-dollar check. In most cases, you can perform the installation yourself if you know how to use a screwdriver. This wiring does not conform to the standard As far as I can tell, the new inducer comes with connectors that simply plug into the same connectors as the old one. If you want to avoid accidentally knocking over your beer while you work, you have to choose where to put it. We're back to watching TV now that the problem is solved.

A new inducer is installed in the Goodman furnace to replace the original
5/5

Voici a summary
Kindly note that the new inducer motor looks slightly different from the original, but it fits exactly, has the same wiring plugs, and operates perfectly A Goodman GCH95 model furnace is the furnace I have. Unable to get out of bed one morning due to the cold. Instead of the typical fan noise, there was only a hum as soon as the furnace was supposed to start. showed a 3 blink code, which indicates the pressure switches are malfunctioning. Alternatively, the inducer motor may not be spinning (not creating vacuum), so the pressure switches will not trip. The inducer motor began to spin when I turned it manually, but it made a really loud sound like a bad bearing. Just a little bit of WD-40 It ran more consistently when the bearings were mounted at 40 rpm. I called around to local HVAC companies and received quotes ranging from $300 to $700 to fix the problem. I ordered a motor on Amazon for $90, but it will take 5 days to arrive. There was evidently just a problem with It took about five minutes for me to remove it in order to inspect it. I did not want to pay out for the noise and was able to wait up until it arrived I was limping along with the old one for about 5 days while it took about 5 days to arrive. Inducer assembly looks a bit different than previous versions (it's clearly a new replacement), but it fits perfectly, the housing is pretty much identical to the old one, all screws lined up correctly, and the motor plugs are identical as well. The service worked perfectly and I was able to save a lot of cash. However, I know folks must work and can't ask for more than 200 dollars It is robbery to charge 600 dollars for a part that only takes 10 minutes to install.

Regardless of how quick and easy it is, it is different
5/5

There was no product shown in the picture. Besides the yellow cap (in fact, there was no cap at all) and the different flywheel, the blower I received was not what I had envisioned. Even so, the electrical specs were the same, and the fit was perfect.

The part I received was Goodman 0171m00001, and the part I replaced In doing extensive research, I discovered that the part I received is actually a replacement for an old part. I wish I had been notified that this was an update. Because the part differs, I will be contacting Goodman for confirmation when they are open to verify this is the correct part. It is easy and quick to install. You can see a picture below of the new part next to the old part (with the yellow cap on the left).

The product was broken right out of This was bought more than a year ago, and I've just been reminded of the problem so I'm posting a review here
3/5

As soon as I opened the box, I discovered that the unit was broken. When the tech installing the software told me to just install it and I didn't understand what he meant, he jury-rigged it to get it to work and installed it as I asked him to. I noticed after a month or so that the unit no longer worked. The same spots have been broken once again. It would have been helpful if I had paid attention when the Tech first told me the unit was broken out of the box and how to fix the problem. I almost didn't buy it because there have been several reviews in which other customers say that theirs came broken as well.

I bought this part to replace the draft inducer blower on my furnace a little more than a year ago after it began whining. While I left out the whiny part, here is what I left in There was not a lot of noise until last night when it blew up a storm. I spent a little over half an hour working on it We replaced it in an hour, and it is now I bought another one after reading the number of comments here. It seems like this is a fairly common problem, so I bought another Those with an interest in mechanical fixes will find it easy to fix this. you have ever worked on a (The short screws had to be positioned with a little bit of jockeying. The lower right screw has to be inserted first. the new "spare" blower I ordered a few days ago after completing the replacement described above. As a result of my purchase over a year ago, the shipping was quick, the new blower came with the gasket, and the motor has larger (improved) bearings than the old one. I clearly am set for a few more years based on all the positive comments.
