The vast majority of people paint their houses in any color they want. Plastisol is a plastic ink that can be used to paint it. The brands Krylon and Rustoleum come to mind.
The post caps took me a while to find. Rather than continue your search, you might as well end it Although they are plastic, they are perfect for the job. The truth is no one is going to notice at the end of the day. You should take care of yourself. This post cap provides the highest value for the price. Take it off when it fades out of the sun and spray paint it with a quick can. It is also possible to spray paint them "copper" if you want to be fancy. Buy more if you want. Saving money by not purchasing metal or wood is already a big saving for you.
These were used to cover the tops of fence posts made of 4 x 4. well and are held in place by a single screw on top The process takes about an hour, and it's easy to do a dozen or more.
