What are the dimensions on the inside?

I can't help you with that because I've already glued them on, so I won't be able to measure it for you, but if you measure the inside of your polls, these will fit nicely on any vinyl fence.

Is it possible that these are larger than 5x5? I require a 5x5 edge-to-edge measurement. ?

Because they are only designed to fit over a 5" x 5" vinyl post, the overall dimensions are larger than 5" x 5".

The items were ideal for the space in which they were to be used. It's a little different than the other similar items strewn about the house. They did, however, an excellent job for me.
