No, it doesn't appear that the door can be adjusted to open to the left or right. The hinges appear to be fixed in place and can be replaced, but they cannot be moved to the opposite side of the door so that it can swing open in the opposite direction. The door swings open to the left side as you look at the machine.

We're thinking about buying it again, but only because we're selling our house and the old one comes with it. It's been almost nine years since we bought it, and it's still going strong! It runs all day for us because we are a family of NINE! It's also used by teenagers and children, so it's been on many adventures! It is very effective at removing lint and hair. As long as the shipping bolts are removed, it's quiet. It's also made life a lot easier by eliminating the need to change clothes. I would purchase from them again.
My machine was just delivered the other day. I had a lot of fun trying to complete my first load. NOT! I called and left a frantic message that the machine was defective; however, the machine was in perfect working order, and I had not removed the shipping bolts. This machine, which I've had for two days, is absolutely revolting to me. It does not dry the clothes and takes a long time to complete any task. The clothes were still damp after 2 1/2 hours of washing on the "normal" setting. I replaced them in the machine and changed the settings to "No Spin" and "Timed Dry," which was set to 55 minutes by default. After I said "No spin," the first thing it did was SPIN AND POUR MORE WATER ON THE CLOTHES. Actually, I had it in for "Turbo Dry" before that - The machine decided to run for SEVEN HOURS AND THIRTY EIGHT MINUTES, as suggested by the words "quick drying. " This device is the poster child for excessive technology, illegible and incomplete instructions, and over 12,000 possible combinations of options. br>br>I recommend purchasing a standard side-by-side refrigerator. Set of w/d on one side. I'm handing it back to you. a nightmare for engineers.
Unlike other models, this one has a much larger capacity. Water and electricity are used in a very efficient manner.
IF YOU USE A DRYER PART, IT WILL GET EVERYWHERE. I despise every minute of dealing with the aftermath of drying clothes in this machine, because no matter how much I wipe, clean, and vacuum the lint, it still ends up all over the next wash cycle. I should have trusted the previous reviews, in which people complained about the same issue. When it comes to the washer, Very good. But it doesn't matter; you'll despise everything once you've dealt with the dryer. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM FOR THE DRYER, AS IT DOES NOT DRY COMPLETELY. There are only a few dryer options.
