I was able to install it easily, so it worked great. It is likely that I saved over $200 on repairs. $150 is the price at the local parts store for the same pump. There is only one recommendation I can make The one I had was 1 3/4 in diameter). In the end, I put the old clamp on, but realized too late that it was not tight enough and flooding The panel cannot be removed until you have pliers on hand. The use of a screwdriver is much easier once the panel is off. For replacing the pump, the total time was about 30 minutes (excluding the clamp thing). The next step will be a dishwasher!.
It will work with a modification, though. In terms of installation and removal of old parts, it was a simple procedure. This part does not fit PERFECTLY like the original part that came with my machine. After making a small modification to the bottom of this part, we were able to get it to With these measures in conjunction with replacing the yucky internal hose, my SUD and F02 errors have been resolved, so the washer now drains successfully. **Update **)
*** Update However, we are still getting the F02 and SUD errors - this indicates that it must be a problem with the computer since we replaced the pump switch and this particular part. But the water DOES drain! In spite of this, you still have to admit that this part works. We just wanted to be clear that fixing error codes does not work.
If you plan on installing squeeze clamps, I recommend getting a few screw type hose clamps at the auto parts store, which will cost a few bucks and save you the hassle of having to reinstall them. There are two clamps, one electrical connection, and a rubber retainer molded into the bottom of the washer to hold things together. A rinse cycle was run and I felt the pump running as it drained. I had to tighten it a bit deeper to stop the leak after the new clean out began to leak. You can get this for a good price!.
Apparently this was an exact replacement for the drain pump assembly mounted on my Whirlpool Duet dishwasher. The two units appear to be similar, but a few differences exist. In the end, I removed the new pump and installed it on my old drain assembly, and the unit functions now. 1. Controverted 1. It appears that the feet that slide into the bottom slots to anchor the assembly in place do not align with the existing slots (the feet are clearly wider apart from A hose like this is a safety hazard because it will shake and make noise whenever the pump is running, or loosen the connections over time.
2. It was made from plastic and the catch drain section (opposite to the motor assembly) was pin-shaped The hole in the wall leaks. I have no idea why it was so frustrating and I didn't understand why it was so bad. I'm not sure if it was defective or if it was a poorly designed vent. The in/out hoses were secured to the assembly, but there was still a small trickling leak from the middle of the plastic assembly itself, and not from the hoses or The pros.
1. Locally, this motor assembly is $130. This is a great price. The second paragraph. I have been using the pump since it was installed and it works fine.
It was purchased to provide drainage to a 14-year-old Whirlpool Duet Sport washing machine. Our drain pump stopped working. We had previously purchased a pump that didn't work, so I had no hope we would find a replacement part. I am rating it 3 stars since the first pump wasn't working. I had to reinstall the "new part" after replacing the broken part with one that I had to replace, because it was the same. Upon placing the order, we were able to send back the old part and receive the new one.
The new part has not given us any error messages and worked straight away. Due to the same product being sold twice, I cannot give two separate reviews. However, compared to having someone come to my house to fix or replace the washer, I believe it was a much better price. It was a relatively simple matter for my husband to replace the part, since he is very handy.
A grade of "F-" was given to my washing machine Whenever I try to drain the water, I get an error "21. ". My pump filter had already been cleaned, but it didn't work for some reason. Effort has been made to keep the water line incoming to the pump and the water line coming out of the pump There is no water being pumped out from the motor and it is just making noise. I replaced the pump with this one and it fits perfectly and works perfectly I have a damaged drain pump and it has the part number 8540024- on it as for the washing machine, it is a Kenmore HE 2Plus, W10007190.
It was easy to find the part. We watched You Tube videos to see how to assemble As it turned out, the part was incredibly inexpensive and easy to install! The first leak was a slight one and after further inspection we discovered a loose fitting. Leaving anything in your pocket is not an option any longer! There were so many things caught in that tiny little filter that you wouldn't believe it Suddenly, she was snarling at your fingers and you were seeing pins, bra wires and tweezers. It never occurred to me that there were so many items in the washing machine! The socks we were missing were not found!.
Although the pump is working well for now, I doubt it will last as long as the original because it's made of inferior materials. On the pump, the electrical connection was in a different position, but it worked. I suspect there didn't enough packing material around the pump for shipping because the cover that goes over the electrical connection was broken off when I opened the package. Overall, it does the job. It has enabled us to wash clothes again, and that has been a positive.
