Yes, it appears to be compatible with that specific model.
Yes, it is.
I agree with the theory that sand kills them. My drain tube was clogged with so much sand the first time I used it that I had to blow it out with compressed air. The sand had jammed the impeller. Since then, I've gone through two pumps and haven't found any sand like the first time, but I'm still suspicious that it was caused by the fact that we wash a lot of sandy items. Changing to this one might be of assistance.
Yes, it does, and it's an excellent match. Make sure you take a photo of your wiring before reinstalling it. You can install this pump from underneath the washer by leaning it against the back wall. Before you start, remember to drain the washer.

It's worth noting that people are giving positive reviews because the subpar replacement replaces the subpar original. This isn't a compelling reason to give it a five-star rating. The truth is that the product is a sham that should never have failed in the first place. This is the second time I've purchased a replacement pump for my LG washer, which I've had for about ten years. This must not be the case. These pumps are expected to last three years. They take four times as long.
This is a part that I would purchase again. All of the details were clearly represented by the seller, and the pump is an exact match. I've read other reviews and found that the LG front load clothes washer pumps are much easier to replace by simply pulling the washer away from the wall, turning off the water and disconnecting the electric wall plug, and then repositioning the washer against the wall. (Select the proper balance point and ensure that the clothes washer is properly supported in the tip-up position. ) position on the backside Then, remove and replace the pump assembly, including the hose clamps and hoses, as well as the screws holding the pin and lint trap. FROM UNDER THE WASHING MACHINE Fronts and backs do not need to be removed! Keep the push down tab in mind as you slide the pump assembly to the back of the washer and lift it out from beneath the clothes washer. Remove the offending pump and replace it with a new one. Install the pump assembly under the clothes washer and you'll be washing clothes again in no time! Our LG clothes washer is on its 12th year.
My OE error code was very simple to change and fix. WM2250CW is the LG washer model. A phillips screwdriver and pliers were all that was required. br>I think it took me longer to write this than it did to do it. br>I took a break from the computer. Then I drained the machine with the small hose near the drain filter in the machine's bottom left corner; my drain tube was clogged with sand, so I worked a piece of wire in it for a long time before it finally started to drain. If yours is clogged, you could drain it through the big hose under the machine, but I wanted to clear out the little tube first. Then I yanked the machine a few feet away from the wall and leaned it against the wall to gain access underneath. br>On the bottom left of the machine, I removed the drain pump filter cover (which had been opened to use the drain tube), the filter, and the two screws inside that cover. yanked the front panel's plastic insert out. There are two more screws behind that. I'd be able to work beneath it. The hose clamp on the large hose that connects the tub to the pump housing was removed with pliers, and the hose slipped away. The drain hose that connects the machine to the plumbing drain was not disconnected. I slid the assembly back and wiggled it down where I could swap the parts by pushing down the plastic tab that holds the assembly forward against the front panel. The pump motor and its plastic cover were held in place by three screws, but they were removed. 2 brown wires black) has only recently been unplugged. For me, the brown one was at the bottom. Keep track of which screws were used and where they went. Pry the plastic motor cover off the old motor with your fingers, then slide it onto the new one. Make sure the new seal is clean, and clean the housing where it sits. Using your three screws, install the new motor. 2 wires must be plugged in Replace it in the plastic retainer and reposition it. To hold the front panel in place, insert two screws through the front panel, then the hose. Clamp on the back of the housing (wet it a little to make it easier to slide on). Replace the front plastic insert with two screws, ensuring that the drain tube is pushed through. Replace the small door and screw in the filter. Let it run for a while after you've plugged it in.
When I got this part, I was ecstatic because the repair was relatively straightforward. Everything worked fine after I installed this part. My washer, however, stopped draining after two months. The fact that the failed component was my most recent replacement caught me off guard. I'm outside the return window because the brass armature has failed. Sad.
But, with a little common sense, I was able to persevere. I unplugged the washer, turned off the water, tilted back the WM, and accessed the pump from underneath the machine. I thought I was supposed to remove the white base around the bottom of the machine, but that was a waste of time. There were four hoses with clamps that needed to be removed from the old pump, and the pump swung out from under the machine. I'd say it took me a total of 15 minutes if I had to guess. From start to finish, it took me 20 minutes. Even dinner was not a problem for me! I ran some rugs through a quick wash cycle in the machine, crossed my fingers, and made promises to God that I believed I could keep. It worked like new, and the pastor is going to be blown away when I show up for church this Sunday. Don't make any jokes. This is a possibility. BTW, despite the lack of installation instructions, the pump performed admirably. The water flowed exactly as it should have. Gawwww. I despise going to church.
I'm not sure why some reviews claim that this isn't original equipment manufacturer. I'm assuming they're comparing it to the original, which still has the cover on it. Please see the photos attached. Two photos show the replacement pump mounted to the pump housing with the cover on, and three photos show the original and replacement pumps side by side. My LG WM9500HKA Signature Washer was very happy with it. On January 9th, 2019, the system was installed. If any early failures occur, I will update my review.
