On my kitchen aid it worked. However, when I took the old pump apart, I dropped the impeller in my hand. So I found the problem.
Pump is brand new and oem, but it does not bear the Whirlpool logo
It may be necessary to use a special tool to cramp the hose clamp or you could replace it with a stainless steel worm drive that can be used with a screwdriver

A dishwasher is hard to fix imo, and the cost of a new dishwasher makes it a complete waste of time or money to fix them incorrectly. So, I thought my problem was the pump or the diverter, but when I tested the circ pump I got no resistance reading. I was pleased with the unit, it arrived quickly, packaging was less padded than I expected given its price, but then it's quite a big piece of equipment. also tried measuring resistance across the terminals of the new unit, but got no results. I have a crimp tool, so installation of the pump was not a problem. The dishwasher started immediately after installation, so I knew I had made the right choice. It took me about thirty minutes to complete, since I am a fairly handy person. As soon as I opened the cover, I checked to make sure the old pump was bad. It turns out the connections are not direct to the motor. For anyone else troubleshooting, I measured 12 ohms across the bad motor. I think it should be closer to 200 ohms for a motor, so I have burned it There was no obvious reason for this failure the motor was not jammed, there was no debris, it just stopped working. I thank Whirlpool for making my life easier!.
I did not think it would be so difficult to diagnose our dishwasher pump problem. You do not know which pump is the main pump from the diagnostic codes, which state that the pump runs intermittently. After the pump finally failed, the tank began to leak. Using this pump as a cross reference, I compared ours. I received my order in 2 days, and it was an easy installation process. It only has a special tool a cinch ring plier. I have a few tips for you After reassembling the dishcharge hose, lubricate the rubber dishcharge hose and suction pipe with liquid soap. Use the rubber support arm sleeve from the old pump to prop up the old ** Update** Having used it for around a year now regularly, it is still in good condition. It does not seem to have any problems.
Except for a few relays/contacts clicking during the wash process, it was completely silent. The problem was solved when the pump was replaced with this one. It has now worked I checked online to order a new pump, after determining that it was the wash pump (power was getting to the pump when it shouldn't have), but couldn't find one. I think it would have been more cost-effective to replace the entire sump assembly rather than just the wash pump, since the wash pump costs nearly as much as the sump assembly, and I'd have some spare parts as well as new seals. The ones I looked for were not available at the time Almost everyone said they could get them (most would probably have them in a few weeks), but no one could stand by their claim even when their supplier said that it was in stock. Those of us who have ever experienced dishwasher failure can attest to how frustrating it is to wait 'a few weeks' or longer. So let's talk about the pumps once again. When I searched on a few websites for a 'compatible' pump, I eventually stumbled on this product. only about 70% of what it should have cost (for the entire sump assembly. Because of my previous experience with other repair parts from there I did not want to purchase from an unknown seller (bad experience with other repair parts there). The only option was the 'sold and shipped by Amazon' selection. I have had great success using this pump I was able to fit it without any issues, but the included clamp requires a tool that I do not have. I wasn't sure how far to trust them after using a jeweler's screwdriver to remove the old one, so I ended up using a worm gear clamp in its place. Once I had sealed everything up, I ran a few cycles until no leaks were detected. When I took apart the old pump, I found that since the new pump is built in the same way (and it certainly looked like it was from the outside), I will also only expect it to last three or four years. I would be surprised if the way the pump impeller was attached to the shaft was the cause of the failure on the old motor (the impeller came loose and then jammed in a way that held the motor in a locked state), and I doubt that will be the case here. It is possible I will need to disassemble this one when it fails (I doubt there will be a need to disassemble it soon since I am not anticipating replacing this dishwasher any time soon), but I would prefer it to be several years instead of Given the failure expectations already known (these dishwashers are known to have this failure point), comparing this particular one to the cost of a new sump or even my time to fix it, I would say the cost here plus a few hours was worth it to extend the lifespan of.
So far, it's working efficiently. You won't have any trouble installing the program. The process of accessing and replacing the pump is explained in a number of YouTube videos. Tips for getting the most out of your Instagram account. 1.
In addition to what others have suggested, the clamp requires a special type of pliers called nippers. For $3, I bought a small one at my local tool store. This product cost $1. 00, and it completed the task A screw can be used in place of the clamp- Generally, it's the auto hose clamp type, but the width of the clamp should be narrower than a normal auto hose clamp if it is to fit properly. I used the supplied clamp with the $3 because I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding a narrow clamp. The Nipper pliers are 00 size. I was able to get it to work without any problems. 1. Use a just a smidge of dish soap on the mounting tang, on the hose fitting, and on the "nose" that goes into the grommet when you install the pump. It will help things fit together better if you use a little dish soap. Put just a little bit of soap on it. 2. *3. *4. Replacing the float micro is a good idea while you're at it Change the channel. The part is inexpensive and frequently fails, and it's easy to get to in the course of replacing a pump. In my shopping cart, I found two micros For $15, you can buy switches on Amazon. The one installed got used, the other stayed back as It is estimated that I have saved something like $200 by doing this myself as opposed to taking the vehicle to a service center and having the OEM part.
The dishwasher that came with it is the gold series dishwasher from Whirlpool. The dishes were staying dirty for a long time. The noise inside the circulation pump was made by a broken propeller. When the kids shut down the pump at first, they discovered a clicking noise. They pulled the pump off and diagnosed the problem. I ordered this part and ran it through a diagnosis on my model, which is a Whirlpool for any DIYers it's to push any three keys simultaneously and so that three times after the other to reset the dishwasher after installation. I have a new dishwasher that works perfectly again.
