In its smallest collapsed form, it is The hose on this machine is the second time I've replaced it, so I couldn't tell if the new one was shorter or not. I would probably not lay it flat against the back of the vacuum if it was any longer. This should be of help.

Shark has been my favorite vacuum cleaner for years. Nonetheless, the hose/ wand that bends often cracks, which is the weakest link. I think this will be a good replacement The vacuum I own has been in use for 6 years, so this is the second hose/wand I have purchased. The one that came with my vacuum is long lasting, so hopefully this one will be as well.
As far as I know, I had to buy a new vacuum. There is a reason, but it lies in this handle piece. As time goes on, I think it will outstretch I make the assumption that it is a frequent occurrence simply because they have this piece available. Although I don't care that it doesn't match my gray vacuum, I do not mind it. You don't have to care. The fact that I won't need to purchase a new vacuum after a year is very important to me. I think it is a good quality product. When I attached it, the handle did not click into the top portion of the wand. When you compare this to the original, you can see that the wire clip on the original is In this case, it was the NV500W.
The vacuum hose just below the handle of the vacuum had a crack. As long as you purchase the entire handle assembly, you can separate the hose from the handle. We saved a lot of money over the Shark online store. This was a fantastic purchase at a great price. I was able to attach this to my vacuum perfectly. As of now, it appears to be in good working order.
As long as I keep the handle/hose attachment, my vacuum will run exceptionally well, even after I purchased it in 2012, and I love how easy it is to clean! It is well worth the price to keep this vacuum running smoothly. Simple to install and easy to use!.
It was connected as soon as it was out of the box, and there was no dislike. All that had to be done was that. Having said that, my biggest negative was needing to find out why the hose failed in the first place.

In the original Shark Rotator Vacuum hose, there were several tears that I improvised by tying duct tape around them. I finally gave up and purchased one from this manufacturer.
