This vacuum is a great fit for the Bissel vacuum. My computer has been with me for nine years now. It makes me angry when I get to empty it after using it and put it back together again. Neither the right side nor left side of the filter can be determined and no way to tell if it's right side up or not. The FILTER on this vacuum has caused me to dread emptying it and then putting it back together again for the last 9 years. Definitely the most powerful hand held vacuum I have ever owned. What on earth will it take for this to be a hit on the It's only because I want a really powerful vacuum that I have to put up with the filter cleaning and installation. First of all, let me say that I love the little handheld vacuum for which these filters were designed. The vacuum cleaner would easily extract pet hair from a monkey, so removing pet hair is not an issue. They perform well, but there is nothing particularly creative about the design of the filters. The filter had to be changed on my Bissell Pet Mate hand vacuum before I figured out why it wasn't sucking well. I like this I should have thought of this sooner, why didn't I? A regular change of the filter makes this handy vacuum work so much better. My thanks go out to whoever sent me.
When it is considered that the user has to bend over to vacuum a rug, those two issues are causing it to be returned. The music is rather loud as well. However, there is a silver lining. Cat hair is easily vacuumed up using this vacuum cleaner.
With my old filter, my vacuum struggled to get dust and hair that had been dug into the carpet because it had been using its original filter for a while. Instantly, once I changed the filter, the suction power doubled. The money was totally worth it.
