As you suspected, it has a clear zippered front panel, and I thought the back panel would be solid vinyl with a section of breathable mesh on either side of it (maybe an inch or so). This is not the case There are no side panels on this shirt front and back panels are sewed together It is entirely made up of mesh on the back. Despite that, it seems like a decent garment bag at a decent price. While I stressed-tested the zipper a few dozen times (and wasn't particularly gentle), I did not encounter any issues.

For my husband's long coat when we use it only once a year, I bought this jacket and it's perfect. It's breathable and visible while standing in front of it. My rating has been upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars because following the review below, a Whitmor representative immediately responded to me and arranged for a replacement bag to be sent out. Since they backed their product with such a strong warranty, I am hopeful that the zipper problem is just an isolated incident. In order to prevent my daughter's karate uniform from getting damaged while it hung in her closet and in the car during tournament travel, we needed something to protect it. When I first looked at this bag, I thought it would be ideal. The bag refused to close when we arrived at our very first tournament of the season, so we had no use for it.
