It was a cute addition to my kitchen, but be aware that if your appliances are not stainless steel, pink stains will result. Now I need to figure out how to get my refrigerator back to its original white color.
The red refrigerator door handle covers have a fantastic effect on me. They were even big enough to fit the door of my oven. Everyone compliments them on how attractive and well-mannered they are. I am confident that you will enjoy this product.
They're plush, long-lasting, and a lovely red color. They aren't as smudge-proof as I had hoped. The disadvantage of these handles is that they tend to move around a lot. I'll have to keep tweaking them until they're exactly how I want them. In any case, they're still of excellent quality, and I'd recommend them to anyone.
It's impossible to get the screws to tighten enough to keep them in place. Not a great start. New Whirlpool refrigerator handles are impossible to tighten enough to keep in place. Overnight, I'd slid down. The materials used to make them are completely inappropriate for this application. The velvet appears to be of low quality. With a heavy heart, I returned home.
I bought this product to cover up scratches on my new refrigerator's handles. (I wish I had bought these years ago. ) The product is fantastic and works extremely well, as well as being simple to clean with a paper towel. They're machine washable, but I haven't had to do so yet. I intend to purchase covers for other items in my home because the seller allows you to measure the surface you want to cover and customizes orders. These covers were simple to put on and adjust. These are definitely worth a try!.
These can work beautifully depending on how your appliances' handles are made. I live in an apartment, so my fridge handles aren't very long or wide, but that worked out fine because I cut one in half and it covered both the fridge and freezer handles. That's evident in the photos I'm sending in. I was concerned about the fabric fraying, but to my surprise, I was able to cut it evenly and it isn't frayed or ragged in the least. Because the fridge/freezer handles are thin, this did not fit as snugly as I would have liked. Because I don't have any children, this isn't as much of an issue for me as it would be for someone who does. br>br>I put the second cover on the oven handle and it fits a lot better. For starters, the oven handle is longer, so I didn't have to re-wire it. sizing. Furthermore, because the oven handle is slightly thicker than the fridge/freezer handle, the cover simply fits better there. br>br>For what I got, the $10 I paid was adequate. I would not be pleased to pay the higher non-refundable fee. $16 is a great deal! No way. br>br>I bought these primarily for the color and the way they make my small kitchen look. For those without children or messy roommates, the fact that they keep the handles cleaner isn't a big deal.
Two boys in the house has its drawbacks. I chose this one after looking at a lot of designs and reading a lot of reviews. To go with my stainless steel French door fridge, I wanted a soft grey/silverish color. I was relieved to see that the color was of acceptable quality. Because the fabric has a suede-like texture, the color of the cover will change depending on whether you run your palm up or down the length of it. If you run your palm downwards, a light grey color will appear. If you run your palm upwards, you'll get a darker grey (as shown in the image). This bothers me because I get caught up in minor details. I keep running my palm down the cover to ensure that the color is consistent. Apart from that, it's a nice bag; it fits snugly around the handles (mine are 4" in diameter), but it shifts slightly. Again, due to my obsessive attention to detail, I reposition the covers so that they are evenly spaced. For the past few days, I haven't had to clean the refrigerator handles. I haven't washed the covers yet, so I'll update my review if they start to fall apart.
Before purchasing, I should have read the size description or measured my door handles. But I've wanted these toy refrigerators, microwaves, and stoves (I don't believe they make stoves-- Since we moved into our home two years ago, with stainless steel everything, it's been a good idea (lol, but it's a good idea if it isn't) I still have two daughters at home, as well as a grandson who enjoys handling the refrigerator and microwave doors without washing his hands. Stainless steel, on the other hand, appears to show every speck of dirt. I clean them on a regular basis, especially the doorknobs. Anyway, I finally had some extra cash (which I would rather spend on my grandson than on door muffins lol) and bought them, only to find out they were too big to fit in my fridge. I considered cutting them, but I have a client (I own a cleaning business) who has stainless steel everything and is always cleaning the kitchen handles, so I thought she might like them. Her refrigerator is side by side, whereas mine is not, so hers has longer handles that are perfect for these little snugglers. When I put them on hers, the first thing we said was that they would keep her hands warm. Overall, I'm pleased with the product, despite the fact that it didn't meet my needs. And, once again, it's my fault for not measuring or reading the size before placing an order. I will, however, order from this company again, this time in the correct size, and recommend it to anyone who wants to keep sticky fingers and dirty hands off of fridge and microwave handles. They also add a touch of class to the appliances. The fact that they offered red was also a major factor in my decision to work with this company. Because that is the color of my kitchen.
