Yes. Our local grocery store had one of these, which my wife discovered. We now keep all of our whole eggs in it. This is fantastic. This is a fantastic way to keep fresh or store-bought eggs fresh. You can also bring a dozen deviled eggs with you. Because they are so good, we are considering giving one to each of the children for Christmas next year.
The grooves on each tray are 12 in number. It can hold 12 half-egg deviled eggs and 24 half-eggs on two trays. I boil 12 eggs and then cut them in half to make deviled eggs. This is fantastic. It's much easier to pipe the devil into the egg halves without having to handle them later.
TIP: Fold a paper towel into the bottom of the container under the egg half holder to help absorb moisture and keep the eggs fresher for longer.

In order to support better treatment of chickens, I began purchasing eggs from local farmers. Now I know my eggs are organic, haven't been injected with vaccines or steroids, and have plenty of space to roam (free range from the grocery store doesn't guarantee they aren't in cramped living conditions; the US Department of Agriculture states that free range birds must "have access to the outdoors for an undetermined period each day," so it's essentially meaningless). This container has simplified my visits, and my eggman is relieved that he no longer has to deal with the exchange of old cartons. These are ideal for storing the eggs from our chickens. They have a lot of capacity, are very roomy, and unlike paper, do not easily break or bend. For the eggs that our girls lay, we keep these in the fridge.
