While the red indicator is made of plastic and is likely "see through," the back of the knob is made of metal and does not allow light to pass through. I tried shining a flashlight on the knob, but it did not even come close to lighting up.

Yes. 5 knobs cost less than one from Samsung, so this is a great product.

My old knobs were broken; they'd spin and fallbr>And bounce aroundbr>In the dining room hallbr>Leaving them offbr>Without any gripbr>Looked pretty crappybr>And frequently slippedbr>br>br>So I went onlinebr>To Amazon Primebr>And found what I neededbr>At just the right timebr>They came in two daysbr>Which was speedy and fastb.
The appearance is pleasing; it is not identical to that of stock, but it is pleasing. However, quality does not stop at appearances. Only three of the five cards in the pack could be used. The numbers 4 and 5 are ineffective. They have pushed in too far and are unable to turn the gas controls; this appears to be a clip or filler issue. However, this is unquestionably a quality control issue. Not worth the money is a bad product is 40% bad product is 40% bad product is 40% bad product is 40%%.
While the fit wasn 100% on not all of them, they are on and they work. Early on, the original knobs developed wrinkles and appeared to be peeling away from the outer covering, possibly as a result of the cleaner I used. They appeared to be a little shady, but they did the job. The original knobs were the next to fall apart. The plastic piece that slipped over the stove peg broke on two occasions. They work because I used glue and dental floss to wrap them. A new knob broke in the same way recently. I repaired them and then went online to look for replacements. These knobs are less expensive as a set than they are individually at Samsung. The tube that fits over the stove's peg appears to be metal, with a gleaming, wrinkle-free exterior. I got all five knobs for the price of one, and my stove now has a new look. They were there in no time. Even if two of them don't fit as snugly as the others, you won't notice until you put them on. They're much better than the original knobs in terms of functionality and appearance. I'm confident that if I had paid five times the price for the original SAMSUNG knobs, they would have quickly degraded to the same level as the originals. , and I'd have some new ones and some wrinkled defective ones, plus two more on the verge of breaking. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
By far, the worst purchase I've ever made is the black stainless steel stove. A month after I bought it, the paint began to peel and the knobs began to break. When I contacted the warranty company, they informed me that they would not be replaced. I contacted Samsung, but they refused to replace the knobs, so I've been dealing with them for a few years. At this point, all five knobs were beyond repair, and I had no intention of paying $50 per knob to Samsung. I found these after doing some research. I figured I'd give them a shot and then return them if they didn't work out. These were a breeze to put on and have a fantastic snug fit. They work great, and the design is actually quite nice; they don't match, and they're shiny, whereas my knobs were a more matted black, but they don't look bad. To me, the most important factor is functionality, and they are well worth the investment. To be honest, I got five knobs for less than I would have paid for a single Samsung. If you own a Samsung stove, you're familiar with the problem with the knobs. This is a terrible design. Don't be hesitant to buy these - they'll be worth it. Unless you're looking for a black stainless steel match, you won't be disappointed. You don't need these - But, once again, it's not at all unattractive.
Matte finish is shown here. Upon delivery, a high-polish chrome will be applied. I was looking for something completely different than what was shown in the photo. A silver matte finish was what I was looking for. Photo 100% is misleading, end of story. Apart from that, it's just my opinion, so check it out for yourself.
The knobs in the image are finished in "Stainless steel" or "Brushed nickel. " br>The finished product has a bright, gleaming "Chrome" finish. br>The finish isn't quite as good as the original knobs. Expect them to look out of place next to a stainless steel stove.
Someone had accidentally turned on one of the burners before we left the house one day, and when I returned home, my house was filled with gas. As can be seen, the original knobs were not only unsightly but also non-functional. They were not only functional, but also a safety hazard; however, before purchasing a new stove, I decided to give these a try, and they are fantastic. They fit snugly, and the reinforcement at the collar piece, which was the source of the original knobs' failure, can be felt. I'm so glad I gave these a try!.
I was hesitant to buy five of these for what appears to be a low price, but after installing these replacement range control knobs on two of the five stems of the range that needed replacements, I honestly believe they are of higher quality than the original knobs installed on my Samsung oven. Of course, only time will tell, but after installing it and using it for a few days, I have no complaints.
