Questions & Answers

Will this work with a fef336bgwd frigidaire?

No, this isn't going to fit in your oven. If you go to the Sears Parts Direct site and search for "frigidaire fef336bgwd parts," you'll find the following two part numbers for your oven: 316075102, with 316075104 as a permissible substitute. On Amazon, you can find both of these part numbers.

Is fef322bawm compatible with this?

It will fit if the Frigidaire FEF322BAWM is a Frigidaire. If you have a different brand, please list it, and I or someone else will respond to your question once more.

Is it compatible with the fef366ccb model?

316225001 is the correct number to use.

Fridgidaire FEF326ASE is a perfect match
5/5

After my previous element caught fire and resembled a welding torch for several minutes, I had a difficult time finding the right one. On the inside of the lower drawer, I found the product number. Part 316075104 is recommended by Amazon and claims to be a perfect fit. While this may be true, the product manual for this model specifies part number 316075103. This arrived quickly, and installation took only a few minutes. It's a good idea to save your old sheet metal screws because this kit doesn't come with any. It heated up quickly and without any problems. For my frigidaire FEF326ASE range, I would purchase this item again.

Excellent product! I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to put this together
5/5

I had no idea that an oven's coil (heating element) could break, but mine did. I'm not the most handy person, but removing the old coil and replacing it was a breeze. There were no guidelines provided. To be on the safe side, I turned off the oven first. I removed the two screws with a socket wrench (the old screws must be reused). I took the prongs out and replaced them with the new coil, which I screwed back in. It took longer to clean out the oven after it had been installed than it did to install it.

It was discovered that the oven was not heating
5/5

During the pandemic, my mother's oven broke down (the bottom element wouldn't heat), and she didn't want a repairman to come into her house to fix it. I googled the problem and the repair site listed replacing the element as fixing the problem about 70% of the time and I was skeptical that this was her issue. I was sk Her oven and element were both in good working order, with no signs of malfunction. She was scrubbing her oven, and it never worked after that. While I have little knowledge of electronics and appliances, and even less knowledge of how to begin repairing them, I can watch YouTube videos. Replacing the bottom element appeared to be a simple task, so I decided to give it a shot. br> Amazon's price was significantly lower than the appliance parts websites I looked at, and Amazon, like them, offered free returns on this item. Even if I couldn't fix it, I figured it was worth a shot. br> The repair required turning off the circuit breaker, removing two screws, pulling the ends of the element out of the back of the oven, removing the wires from the element (which required a little more force but was no more difficult than plugging in a USB cord), plugging in the new one, replacing the two screws, turning on the circuit breaker, and testing the oven. It was a total success. My 40- The 30-minute drive to and from her home took several times as long as the repair. It turned out to be a very easy and inexpensive project. I'll admit that this isn't a repair that my mother could have performed herself, but that's only because she couldn't reach the screws and wires in the back of her oven without getting down on her knees. I would recommend trying this element before calling a repairman to anyone who has no trouble getting to the back of their oven. br> On a related note, after removing her old element, I was able to test for electrical continuity. Despite the fact that the element appeared to be in perfect condition, there was no continuity. br> I hope you found this review useful.

For a Frigidare FEF368GCE, this is the proper bake element
5/5

A burned-out element is simple to replace.

- The element must be in the correct order. Because no one keeps a spare "just in case" one of these around the house. "
- Until the new component arrives, dine out or barbeque.
- Just to be sure, double-check that the oven is turned off.
- Remove the two sheet metal screws that hold the old "why didn't you give me any warning that you were going to burnout*" sign in place. To the oven wall, add an @$" element.
- Remove the old element from the oven wall with care, revealing the (hopefully) still attached spade connectors and wires.
- If you can't get the wires and connectors out from behind the oven wall, try the next step.
- Remove the spade connectors from the old element, and DO NOT LET THEM FALL BACK BEHIND THE OVEN WALL IF YOU DID NOT HAVE TO FISH THE WIRES OUT FROM BEHIND THE OVEN WALL. Otherwise, you'll have to do the fishing step as well.
- The wall tabs should point up, and the support feet should point down, when assembling the new element. (yes, this is probably the most straightforward thing to get wrong)br>- Slide the spade connectors from the wires onto the spades of the new element with care, making sure they are tight enough not to fall off. (If not, you may have to go on another fishing trip. ) )
- Carefully insert the wire-connected new element into the oven wall hole until it reaches the tabs. (Hopefully, this isn't where you find out the *) Inverted @$ element)br>- Replace and tighten the sheet metal screws. (they don't have to be ridiculously tight)br>- Now stand up, cross your left hand's fingers and put it in your pocket, and turn the oven on with your right hand. (If you want, you can reverse the hands) This will accomplish two goals. The new element will be turned on by it. Also, if you manage to energize the entire stove cabinet, it will prevent you from electrocuting yourself.
- After a few moments, your new element should begin to glow red. Congratulations on your achievement!
- Please accept my apologies if it does not begin to glow. I'm afraid you're in for yet another dismantling and fishing trip. What's for supper? br>br>.

Oven made by Frigidaire When removing the old one, use extreme caution
4/5

There are only about 2 inches of slack between the two small female connectors at the ends.

Installing it was a breeze
3/5

There are two screws and two wires in this project. My Frigidaire stove now has a total of three oven elements. I replaced the original with an aftermarket element when it burned out. It was only about a year long. It worked fine, but I noticed that the diameter was slightly smaller than the original. It blew up, made a horrible noise, and filled my oven with smoke. The bottom of the oven was littered with melted steel fragments. This time, I went with a genuine Frigidaire part, which is working fine so far, but I'm not sure how long it will last (keep in mind that the first element that burned out was also a genuine Frigidaire part), so hopefully this one will last a long time.
