Questions & Answers
Is this compatible with the nx58j5600sg range of stoves?
Yes.
Yes! I have the same stove model, and the knobs slid on easily. The original Samsung knobs are prone to falling off, so it's a relief that these work so well as a replacement.
You can buy with confidence because the Amazon FBA logistics we use are shipped from the United States in a timely manner.

GAHH! My Samsung stove knob, which had only been in use for a little over a year, broke one day, and I began searching for a factory replacement. According to the Samsung website, the knob cost $60! FOR A SINGLE KNOB! Anyway, I searched Amazon for a replacement set and came across this one. After reading reviews and responding to questions, I discovered that the replacements are made of plated plastic. Intrigued, I removed the metal backer plate on the original and discovered that THE SAMSUNG PART IS PLASTIC AS WELL! It's PLATED with metal, but it's still plastic. I purchased the entire set of five to replace them all and ensure that they all matched. There are some differences, such as the printing font type and finish (more like mirror than brushed), but they look pretty good for the price, and the important thing is that where the Samsung is plastic, the replacement is also plastic, but with a metal ring REINFORCED. All photos can be found here.
The new version is superior to the old. Except for one thing, I adore my Samsung television set. the switches and knobs They have a tendency to break in a specific way after only a few uses. They break because the back of the knob's inside sleeve, which slides over the range's burner control rod, is made of plastic. When you turn the knob, all of the torque is transferred to that small diameter plastic sleeve, which is prone to breaking due to its plastic nature. After only a few months of use, my original knobs began to fail. Samsung is charging $50 to replace just ONE knob. Replacing the 6 knobs on the front of the range costs nearly as much as buying a new one. So the first thing I like about these replacement knobs is the price: they're only $40 for five. The second feature of these replacement knobs that I like is that they are more snug than the originals. I thought they were the wrong size at first because they fit so snugly on the rod, and I had some difficulty getting them to seat. However, they are not the incorrect size; they simply require a little more force to slide onto the range control rods. However, unlike the original knobs, they do not 'wobble' when turned on. Breakage should be reduced as a result of this as well. Because the original knobs are so loose, turning them causes the internal sleeve to rotate before it engages with the control rod, amplifying the torque's negative effects. Even if I didn't explain it clearly enough, the bottom line is that the new knobs fit better and appear to be more durable than the originals (and they look identical). Even if they fail at the same rate as the original knobs, the cost of replacement is not prohibitive.
First and foremost, Samsung, for providing low-cost, low-quality knobs and then attempting to charge your customers $60 per replacement knob: You should be ashamed of yourself; You should be ashamed of yourself! br>br>You spend a lot of money on a stove, and then you ruin it over something as minor as this. And it isn't just you who is affected - Almost every appliance manufacturer knows a thing or two about their customers. What's the matter with you, especially the refrigerators? It's essentially a box with a compressor and a fan inside of it. That, however, is a separate story. In any case, this industry, like the mattress industry ten years ago, is ripe for disruption and competition from those willing to produce a high-quality product. Repent and reform, or we'll replace you. My newly installed knobs can be seen on the left. A jumble of my old ones can be found on the right. Not only did two of them break, but the lettering has nearly vanished and the fake metal coating has become spotted and is beginning to bubble on all of them. It's been about three years since this stove was purchased. br>br>I'm not expecting much more from these substitutes, but they appear to be at least as good for a fraction of the price, and there appear to be a few other knock-offs as well. There are knock-offs on Amazon that are less expensive (this is a cottage industry for these knobs), but these seem to be reliable, so I'll probably order another batch.
I have a Frigidaire range for which replacement knobs are impossible to come by at a reasonable price (OEM knobs from Frigidaire cost $40-$50). 50 each). The knobs that came with the stove had no indication on the front of whether they were pointing straight up or straight down, so these seemed ideal: they arrived, felt solid metal, and were beautiful. Unfortunately, they didn't fit my range (despite the fact that they were advertised as being compatible with Samsung appliances). I decided to take a chance and see if they would fit. When they didn't, I gave them back to them. The seller (Chu Lan) apologized for not fitting them and offered to assist me in finding the correct knobs. I sent him my range model number, and he promptly responded with the correct knob part number, which, unfortunately, is the same as the one on the stove I was attempting to replace. I'm blown away by their customer service, and all I want to do now is buy something from them.
It wasn't going to work out! I went to Amazon and found these strong collars that seemed to have a lot of positive feedback. They aren't the right color for my stove, which is black, which is why the other ones are so expensive. Anyway, I bought them just to have knobs that aren't broken and fall off when you look at them. They're actually more attractive than the stove's original knobs. The chrome-style knobs really stand out against the black stove, and it's stunning! In person, it's even more beautiful than it appears in the photo. It took some trial and error in terms of fit. On some knobs, the fit is looser than on others. So if I find a loose one, I simply try it in a different location, and by doing so, I ensure that all five knobs are securely fastened. I haven't had a single one fall off yet, and I even cooked a large dinner for extended family over the weekend, and it went off without a hitch! Thank you for producing such a high-quality product at such a low cost!!.
