Questions & Answers

How big should the covers be?

Hello: Our covers are designed to fit 19-inch fan blades. The length of the piece is 22" and the width is 5 inches. At their widest point, they measure 6" inches. Thank you for your inquiry; we hope this information was helpful.

I'd like to cover the blades on a Hunter 52" fan and hang it outside the door. Will the fan blades be protected from moisture with these covers?

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us. Our products have previously been used to protect outdoor fans from dirt and dust; however, because they are not waterproof, they will not keep your fan completely dry; however, they will help to mitigate the elements and keep your fan clean. You simply toss them in the washing machine when they become dirty. We hope this has been of assistance. Thank you very much!

Does it stretch at all if my fan blades are a little more than 6 inches wide?

Thank you for your message, and I hope to hear from you soon. Our covers are made of a durable polyurethane material. They are made of spandex and have a lot of stretch. They're made to fit a blade that measures 5 inches in length. I believe it depends on the precise dimensions of your fan blades whether they are 6" wide or not. If you could let us know, we can take measurements and see what's going on.

What's the best way to put them together?

Thank you for your message, and I hope to hear from you soon. The installation of fan blade designs is simple. At one end, they have an elasticized opening that slides over the blade like a sock. After cleaning your fan to remove any dust or grime, pull each fan blade cover over each of your blades (each package comes with five covers). They're made to fit standard ceiling fans (5-inch diameter). At its widest point, it's 6" wide, and it's 19" long. They're 22 inches long at their longest point, and they're made of polypropylene. If your fan falls into that size range, the spandex fabric will stretch to fit snugly. They stay on thanks to the elastic ending, which works similarly to a sock. Thank you for getting in touch with us; we hope this information is helpful. Good luck with your day!

I'm having a hard time figuring out what's wrong with me
3/5

So. There's an issue with you. It appears that the problem is minor. I'll contact the seller, who will most likely be able to resolve the issue right away because someone else must have had the same issue, right? If only getting in touch with the seller wasn't such a challenge! br>br>The issue is that the shape of my fan's blades necessitates stretching the elastic further than it was probably designed to stretch. After that, the blades taper quickly until they reach the hub - So there's no thin arm to tie the socks with a zip tie or something like that- It's not as if it makes a big difference, because there's a big one. Given that the "one size fits all" garment is made of Lycra, some stretch is to be expected. If there is any stretch, it isn't in the direction I require. br>br>They hold up well enough on low or medium - if it isn't in a state that is aerodynamically appealing- On high, the inevitability of a disparity between the rate at which socks fall off and the length at which they fall off at any given time causes an unsustainable wobble - One of the blades came dangerously close to touching the ceiling. Even if I was able to live a normal life - for the time being In the summer, I'll need everything the fan has to offer, with less speed in exchange for really nice colors. Currently, pieces of tape are holding the socks to the fan, but I doubt this will last. br>br>As an alternative, grommets on longer socks could be used to shorten a sock when needed while still serving to secure the sock to the fan with paracord. I will grant that paracord is not the most decorator friendly (it does come in far more colors than anyone ever imagined possible), but it is sturdy and readily available. br>br>I eagerly await the seller's response because the idea of cleaning the fan by tossing the "blades" in the washer appeals to me greatly.
