Questions & Answers

Isn't it true that the pack photo shows 3/4 and not 5/8?

The length of the nails is 3/4.

Will this work with a Porter Cable model fn250A that was manufactured in 2001?

They should fit any 18 ga straight brad nailer, in my opinion. It's a P/C from around 2008.

What kind of finish do you have? Galvanized is mentioned in the bullet point, while stainless is mentioned in the technical details. ?

Hello, and thank you for contacting me with your inquiry. Coating for the BN18PP Fastener: Stainless steel galvanized

Is it possible that they have been galvanized?

They're galvanized, to be sure.

Porter cable is a type of cable
4/5

Okay, this was a fascinating read. You'll have problems if you jam a row of these nails into your gun. After shooting 2, I put in a full row. It becomes jammed after three nails. When you open it, you'll notice that the row of nails has been broken in half and is now stacked one on top of the other. However, if you divide the row in half, there will be no issues.

Nothing else should be used to make a purchase
3/5

This is a fantastic product that isn't in competition with Porter Cable's offerings. Finishing nails cannot be packaged in a large package, which is my complaint. I had nails all over the place because every damn box had opened. I'm irritated because I now have to sort through my nails. Thank you so much for shipping items with common sense.

Not at all what I was expecting
3/5

Instead of 5/8" brad nails, you will receive 3/4" size nails, as depicted in the picture and description. The 5/8" brads required for the project had to be ordered separately. br>br>Updatebr>I don't believe the seller is to blame. I went to the Porter's office and double-checked everything. On the cable website, there are two different descriptions for the same product number. It appears to be a Porter-type of situation. The problem is with the cable, not with the seller.

My Dewalt 20v and Hitachi/Metabo 18v nailers worked flawlessly
5/5

For a project pack, the price is unbeatable. With my Dewalt and Hitachi cordless nailers, I've never had a misfire or a problem with these. So, in terms of price, quantity, and quality, this is a no-brainer. br>br>I deduct one star because of the way these are packaged: I have a folded flat carton that, once opened, basically disintegrates. You'll need to find a secure way to package your leftovers once they've been opened, or they'll break down into tiny scraps that aren't usable. It's annoying, but it's only a minor quibble; it's hardly worth deducting a star, so I'll give it another five stars for four dollars.

Packages will be delivered in small chunks
3/5

I received a package containing several smaller packages of brad nails, which had already split apart when I opened them. The nails were scattered throughout the bag, in various states of disintegration. Loading the nailer becomes extremely difficult as a result. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the vendor or with the packaging. However, future customers should be aware that loading your nail gun after receiving these nails may be a pain.

Product description that is not accurate
3/5

Please note that while the product description specifies that the smallest size in the pack is 5/8 of an inch, the smallest brads in the package are actually three quarters of an inch when you receive them. I had a specific need for 5/8. I already had the other sizes and only ordered these for the 5/8" ones (which, contrary to the description, are not included). ) As a result, ordering this item was a waste of time.

A nice selection of brad nails, ideal for the occasional user
5/5

There are 300 brad nails (18 ga) in each of the following sizes included in the box: 3/4" (1 1/4"), 1 1/4" (2"), 1 1/4" (2"), 1 1/4" br>While the box does not state that these brad nails are galvanized, a statement on the back of the box describing which brad nailers it works with translates to "and on most 18 gauge galvanized nail guns. "br>The Porter Cable website does state that these brad nails are galvanized.

This is an excellent set for beginners
5/5

This is an excellent set for beginners. I recently bought a set of air tools and wasn't sure what sizes I'd need for different projects. This set is fantastic because it comes in a variety of sizes that have accommodated all of my needs. There are 300 of each type, which may appear to be a large number to a beginner, but they sell out quickly. So keep track of which size fits you best and order more!.
