In my more than 50 years of skiing, I have experimented with many different Despite being inexpensive, these goggles are great and don't break the bank. I have used this for skiing and the ease with which you can change lenses is quite impressive. The shoes were very comfortable to wear, and they The only thing I can say is that I've used them with my glasses (I usually ski with contacts) but they're tight and my glasses froze up other goggles have caused me to have the same problem. We are very happy and have purchased 3 other types of lenses as well. My lenses don't separate from the goggles at all, and I never have to worry about them. The product is great and I would definitely buy it again. The goggle I consider to be my favorite.
For overcast, partly cloudy, or cloudy days, I prefer the Low Light Yellow lenses (VLT 54%, Grade S1). Neither of them has a problem. My perception of the scene has been clarified and brightened, especially the contours of When the sun is not shining directly on me, these lenses are still fine as long as they do not reflect the direct bright rays of the sun. When the direct bright rays of the sun are out, I switch to Ice Blue lenses (10% VLT, It is so easy to change out the lenses while my goggles are slid over the top of my helmet on top of my head, without having to look at them. To make this switch, I simply pull off my mittens and leave my glove liners on.
This is an average pair of Their purpose is accomplished and they are attractive to look at. I do not like that they do not have the rubbery grips on the inside of the strap like other ski goggles do. They frequently pop off my helmet, and as a result, do not stay in place very well.
I wore them under heavy rain the first time I wore them The wipes are so easy to It was wonderful to have a pair of black ones on a sunny day! My head and face are small (52 cm) so I went with the juniors since they fit perfectly with a small women's helmet and when I only wear a beanie on cold days.
Steamboat was great! We just came back from four days there. During the first two days, it was snowy and overcast, so I used the yellow mirror S1 lens and it worked great. During the last two days, it was sunny and clear, so I used the blue ice lense, which also worked well.
Easy to insert and remove the lenses of the WildHorn goggles is what I like most about them. As I mentioned, I can do it in a matter of seconds with little effort. I bought a yellow lens that will be useful during the more challenging conditions of late afternoon and evening. The item seems durable and of high quality, so if you are a casual biker, it's not hard to recommend. Most users who I know have commented on the lens quality, but I have not actually used them yet. Depending on how frequently you ride or if you are going for gold, then the price may be more or less than that if you are riding everyday or going for gold. For the few times I ride during the season, this did not make much of a dent in the wallet.
The mirror images are on the same page. The orange light will be especially noticeable while night skiing, as it will still give off a lot of glare while dimming all the objects around so that they are hard to see when it is dark. It's great that Wildhorn is now making glasses, however they need to reduce glare on all their rock lenses (maybe by adding polarization options) and give us more neutral base colors. If I have to see the world through rose colored glasses, I'd prefer not to.
In the future, I will probably purchase this one because it looks cool and the visibility is good. My goggles were on my face while I was replacing the lens, and it was extremely easy to do. I'll provide an update with pictures after a few months. This is a great product at a great price.
