I bought these for my 6 year old for her second season of skiing. Despite her enthusiastic reaction to the color (white with rainbow lens), she was frustrated that the goggle frames were not, out of the box, smooth enough. This is my first time dealing with matte finish products As it came out of the bag, the matte frame had dark discolorations near the sharp edges There is a line around the nose, and a line on top of the front face of the frame. In my photos, I have circled certain areas. This could be the result of being packaged in the black storage pouch (which I have never had to deal with in 16 years of snowboarding), or if they had been used, which I doubt since the inner lens protective film was still attached. As a result, I am returning it because it was dead to me when it arrived. In the future, I'd like to wear a frame with a smooth gloss finish so that discoloration does not take place.

There is a lot of room here! When I bought them for my very petite 5 year old, they were too big for her. I like the quality, but it is too big for me.
