INNOVATIVE INTERCHANGEABLE LENS - The extra-large spherical lens is held in place by 12 points (8 magnets and 4 physical anchors) under a stabilization bezel to provide a wide peripheral view and distortion-free clarity. When you're on the slope, it'll stay put, but when you need to switch lenses, it'll pop right out.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES - Anti-slip silicone backed and helmet compatible strap, over-the-glasses design, triple layer foam, strong and flexible TPU frame, scratch and impact-resistant lens; medium-to-large fit

Questions & Answers

Is there a way to prevent fogging with vents?

They do not become foggy in any way.

This ski goggle appears to be fantastic. What's the best way to look after my contact lenses? thanks?

First and foremost, when not in use, keep your ski goggles in a protective pouch or case. Only use a specific microfiber cloth to clean the outside of the lenses. Because the inside lens of your ski goggles has been treated with an anti-fog coating, DO NOT wipe it. When cleaning, you run the risk of wiping away the fog coating. If you get snow or water in your goggles, shake them out first before letting them air out. dry.

What's the best way to take the lens off?

Squeeze the rubber part behind the lens down towards the goggle's center, starting at the top. Then repeat on the other side, with the nose being the only part left to attach. While holding the lens in front and back, just above the nose, gently pull the rubber portion around the nose down. As you pull back on the rubber, the lens should slide up and out.

Will these work with a pair of 5 o'clock glasses? x x x x x x x x y 4" ?

Yes, you can wear prescription glasses with this.

These are compared to some of the most popular goggles on the market in detail
5/5

It's that time of year again; winter has arrived. br>br>Oakley, Smith, Electric, Dragon, Anon, and VZ are just a few of the well-known brands. With Goggles dominating the snowboard/ski goggles market, one might wonder if he or she can ever find a pair of decent goggles for less than $100. br>br>I won't tell you, "Hey, this is it, go get it, it's way better than Oxxly, smxxh. " " I'll leave my mark and spend two days on the slope (Mammoth Mountain). " And you can make your own informed decision about whether or not to pull the trigger. br>br>I don't consider myself to be a professional in any way. I have a bad habit of purchasing various types of snow goggles to try on and match with my various snow outfits. More than 30 pairs of higher-end shoes have passed through my hands. I've stopped wearing snow goggles because I only have 20 pairs left. My two cents on the goggles are as follows: First and foremost, the packaging of these Akaso Mag- This isn't your run-of-the-mill paper wrapping you'd get for less than $40. The box art is nice but not flashy; it's arguably superior to Oakley's thin paper box with plastic case/frame, and more akin to the newer Von Zipper Jetpack hard paper case. It's quite impressive, and the packaging alone gives you some assurance that your goggles will not be DOA (death on arrival). br>br>Now it's time to see what's inside the box. You get the goggles (of course), and they still come with a face mask as I type this review. I tried on the nylon mask, and it felt pretty comfortable, but I don't plan on wearing it anytime soon, so I won't review it. br>br>The lens on the goggles is HUGE. All riders, including myself, who prefer to wear helmets and goggles outside of them, will appreciate the plastic grips on the strap. The lens is held in place by eight magnets on the lens, which are magnetically attached to the frame. I have no idea how much these lens magnet structures cost, but at $40, they appear to be quite pricey. The magnet is very strong, and removing the lens from the frame requires some effort on my part. In comparison to Anon M1's impression, These Mag- M2 that I had tried, these Mag- M2 that I had tried, these Mag- M2 that I The lens doesn't feel like it'll fall off the frame if you land funny off a jump and smash your head into the snow (in fact, it held up well enough for me in Mammoth Unbound last weekend). br>br>As you can probably tell, it looks a lot like Oakley Flightdeck, but with a few notable differences. I'll compare these goggles to a few of the most popular frameless models on the market: Flight Deck at Oakely VZ Jetpack and Airbrake XL The Dragon APS (or x1, the first frameless goggles) are a pair of goggles with no frames. br>br>(Please see my photos below for a size comparison)br>br>Size comparison: These goggles are a colossal size! They're a little bigger than Flightdeck's, but the visible angles are nearly identical. I believe the lens areas are similar, with the exception that Flightdeck's lens is more curved. Inside, there are no strange frame lines and the view is good. When compared to Airbrake XL, the Mag-Lock is a better option. Because they don't have a mounting point inside the viewing area, the Pro is better. br>br>Weight br>br>Weight br>br>Weight br> Mag- you are wise. weights for professionals The Flightdeck weighs 6 oz, while the Flightdeck weighs 5 oz. The true comparison should be made with Airbrake XL, which weighs 6. 6oz. Why? Because the Flightdeck goggles lack a quick-change lens mechanism, which would add weight to the goggles. The weight of the Airbrake XL is 6. 6 oz, which I believe is Mag- In the weight comparison, Pro performs admirably and wins. Consider the case of Mag- Pro is 0. It's also 1 oz lighter (not by much) and has a simple mechanism for changing lenses (squeeze the goggles and pop the lens, rather than taking them off and opening the goggle lens lock). The VZ Jetpack is only five pounds in weight. 7oz, but its viewing angle isn't as wide as the others, and its lens-changing mechanism isn't anything special or quick. br>br>Lastly, Mag-Lite's foam isn't as thick as the others. The comfort level of the Pro is excellent. The quality of the material is excellent, and it is finer than my Smith I/O X. On top of that, the foam is there. All of my Oakleys and VZ's have the same bar. They're a lot more comfortable than Zeal and Spy (which, in my opinion, have the worst foam padding in the industry, causing my face to hurt. . . )br>br>I took them to Mammoth for two days of snowboarding and they performed admirably. We have blue bird days all the time in California. I thought the 17% VLT would be a little too bright for our sunny conditions but it ended up fine. One thing The bottom of the lens would block a portion of my vision for spotting the landing when I took a jump or rail. When compared to Flightdeck, which has a greater vertical angle, the difference is negligible. I'm sure it went unnoticed by the majority of people. br>br>Overall, these lenses have exceeded my expectations; the quality is excellent. I won't doubt the claim if it's a blind test or if you give it to me with Oakley goggle straps and say it's a new Oakley model.

Finally, no fog, and OTG Goggles with quick-change lenses that I can put on while wearing mittens! I can't afford to wear the wrong lenses for the conditions of the day as a member of PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America), but I also don't have time to fiddle with complicated lens replacements
5/5

You don't have to remove your goggles to put on a new lens because each replacement lens has four physical and eight magnetic holders. It's possible to do it while wearing mittens. Simply place the new lens against the goggle frame and the magnets will take care of the rest. It has a magical quality to it. What initially drew me in was the availability of a yellow replacement lens (I like the 55% Visible Light Transmission and in flat light, which we often get here in the East, y They really mean it when they say "fog"! I'll admit that the goggles are a little heavy with the magnets, but if that's the "price" of quick changes, I'll take it.

Excellent goggles; however, the helmet fit should be taken into consideration
4/5

This is a 4 out of 5 in my opinion. 5 out of 5 stars. br>br>These goggles were fantastic. They never fogged up, had excellent vision, and were comfortable (except for my helmet, which caused them to rest too harshly on the bridge of my nose). I like how the lens is magnetically attached and can be swapped out as needed. It includes a balaclava, which is useful (as shown), but it could be better. br>br>Performance br>br>Performance br>br>Performance br These were excellent value for money. There aren't any issues. Look- It's fantastic in every way. There were no complaints there, either. The only complaint I have is the size; it's not a big deal on its own, but when paired with a helmet, it can cause problems; you must use a helmet that doesn't come too far down the face, or the goggles will be pushed down too far. That's what I had to deal with, and my nose was still hurting after two days of snowboarding. So keep that in mind if you're going to wear a helmet.

I really like the way it fits, feels, and looks

Updated on April 18, 2019: br>Following my initial review, the company contacted me several times to try to resolve the problem. I just shrugged it off and told them it wasn't necessary because my daughter was still wearing the original goggles, but they insisted on sending me a new pair. We got the new glasses, and to our delight, they were a different color frame with a different lens, which I adore; With so many positive reviews for these goggles, I believe the first pair we received was just a fluke pair - I can see how they would have passed quality control because you couldn't see the flaws until you were outside in the sun. Based on two major factors, I've raised my rating to a 5. First and foremost, I am blown away by how the company stood behind their product and insisted on sending a replacement even though I initially told them it was fine and that they didn't need to send another. Second, the new pair is incredible and deserving of five stars; The yellow frame is particularly appealing. The company deserves a big thank you. Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>O br>These have excellent fit, feel, and appearance. With the lenses, there were two issues. In the lens, there was this strange, almost tiger stripe distortion; That's the only way I can think of to put it. There were a few lines of less tinted lens that were uneven. The main issue, however, was that any light source or anything reflecting light was reflected horribly. The lenses had strange reflections even when they were just out on a sunny day. I was planning on returning them, but my daughter has expressed an interest in using them. She is aware of the strange light reflections in the lens, but she is unconcerned.
