The first thing to note if this is your first trailer purchase is to purchase two, whether it is an 8 or 10 foot While I only bought one set, I made it work for now, but I'll be purchasing another set in the near future. On my 8' trailer, I placed mine 12" apart edge to edge instead of 10" on center as recommended to cover as much space as possible. When I started, my skis almost touched the trailer as I was in a dead stop. Thank you very much! I am very impressed! However, I expect there to be no issues if I do back off.
The most amazing thing about them is how well they work sometimes. The four wheeler didn't slip, it just kept climbing until it was completely on the trailer. Despite not having rain, we sprayed water on the trailer to see if it would work during rain. It did and we had no problem. This product is highly recommended.
Product is of a very high quality. I have had no problems with this installation. I also appreciated the installation instructions.
I'm very pleased with the results.
On a tilt trailer that I use to haul my ORV, I put these. Even with 4 wheel drive, the load came straight to me with no spinning. With the grip glide installed, I was no longer slipping or spinning as I loaded.
It's a good product, but the math is bad. There were 32 pieces included with the kit. The pieces each have three holes. There are two packages of screws each with 33 screws. I have a feeling that something is not right. The rest of the guides are fine.
Installed in a few minutes. A few of the ramps on the front of my enclosed trailer have been broken. There is quite a turn at the end of the unloading method they dislike. As far as traction is concerned, they work well.
Several of the shirts have broken. It is not deep enough and may be broken by as soon as the front/back edges of the skegs rub against it.
