It doesn't matter what size you use. How thick the trailer deck is will determine how much articulation you will have. I used one inch long coated screws because mine was half an inch wide, so they wouldn't go through the deck.
To mount them, I spaced them about 6" apart and screwed them into place. I find it to be very useful.

I removed them once they were installed but I had to drive a lot of screws to do so. . You have to keep that many people on the trailer for them to hold on.

Maintains the trailer deck's integrity by keeping track and studs off the That's a nice look as well! The deck is sufficiently protected from scratches by cutting it in half and alternately applying it every 10" (except at entry, exit, and where the sleds will typically be parked in the trailer), and it does not need to be replaced or repaired.
Installing them is easy, and they are of good quality. The stuff I received was someone else's due to a shipping mix up. As soon as the mistake was detected, SVS handled it right away. I would definitely buy from this seller.
