You get what you pay for, though I have only one complaint the adhesion backing. I find it difficult to work with compared with other studs I have purchased. While I was trying to peel off the cover from the adhesive, the adhesive actually started to peel off for several of the studs. That being said, I nevertheless managed to install them on the board and they seem fairly.
I cannot speak to how durable they are at this point. In terms of my warning people, I can say there's something you need to watch out for The cleaning pad that comes with the package is called cleaning pad. As a result, I have sometimes simply used rubbing alcohol to remove grease and dirt films before applying the coating. When I used the cleaning pad, the chemical began to eat away and stained the graphic on top sheet of each. It is easy to remove but not easy to clean, and the pad has a toxic warning on the outside. It is best to be cautious if you buy It would be a waste of money to use the cleaning pad on a graphic that you really like.
I followed the instructions as best as I could, and I hope they will hold up well. After this season, I will update.
The glue is crap. The heel slips now, so I plan to buy a stomp pad in its place. This is the first time I have encountered this problem. The studs for my deck are still glued to it even though it is several years old.
After 2 days of use, only 3 of the original 9 studs are still attached to my board. I gave it two stars rather than one because it's still functioning. Are you unsure whether the adhesive is made for cold weather or not? It was disappointing. Maybe I should wait another day for the last 3 to fall off and then I will purchase another.
My first ride lasted for about 30 minutes before half of the studs broke off. The Dakine studs that I bought to replace these seem to be holding up.
For extra grip, we have a stomp pad. These were installed and some books were set on the top for 24 hours. As a result, adhesion was not an issue after a full day on the ski.
Be sure to read reviews before making a purchase. They seem to pop off easily, and that was the biggest complaint. We have been boarding them for 3 days and they are on board and working My board was not taken out for a few days because I had made sure they were well stuck, put something heavy on top, and then I threw it away. It is probably just a matter of time before they are fully integrated.
