It is true that the mating surface of the stomp pad is coated with an adhesive layer.
To stand on it, it's pretty stable. It's been on my board for a few years now and I haven't had any complaints.

A few weeks ago, I got a new board and wished for a clear stomp pad because the board's graphics are attractive, but was hesitating to buy because I did not know if the pad would be visible. Additionally, not only did this pad place on my board with crystal clear clarity, but it is also thicker than I expected for better riding comfort. I can easily grip onto my boots with the three points because they have great edges. The stomp pad looks super clean, and while it is smaller than some stomp pads I've tested or owned, I still think it is the best one I've ever used.
The snowboarding equipment was used just today. Today is the day to wear it. This is quite a large device, but it did the job and stayed on for the entire day. I pressed down on it after it was applied for about 5 minutes and it didn't It comes in handy when I get it right when getting off lifts, even though I'm still not good at it. Great! I would recommend it! A brief update It has been nearly 5 years since I've taken my board on other trips, and the shoe tread is still holding up nicely! It has been exactly what I was looking for, and it has made getting off of the lifts much easier. Unlike me, my sister bought individual ski boots that she had to stick on the same day I bought mine. She purchased them from the ski shop at the resort we were at, and every time she goes snowboarding, one of the boots gradually falls off. Despite her frustration with her purchase, I find mine to be much more satisfactory. It is well made, though it is on the larger side, and is clear, so it is hard to notice.
Compared to what we expected, this was remarkably small. The width of two quarters is equal to that of this coin.
So far, I have only used it once, but I appreciate the fact that at least some instructions were included. It's not that they were necessary, but my buddy got a brand new (Dakine) stomp pad at the same time that came with zero instructions, so I appreciated that at least these instructions tell you to install it with the board and switch. Before using, leave the pad at room temperature for 24 hours. In fact, my buddy had not received such notice, and ended up installing his system twelve hours before we hit the slopes. It is still too early to tell if that would have mattered to.
In order to cure the glue, I wore it a couple of days before I set out on my trip. Then I put an 8 lb barbell on top of it to ensure it was securely My guess is that I put it a bit too close to the binding, but it still worked fine. As well as staying in place, looking fantastic, not interfering with my board's design, and giving me very good control over my board, I am very pleased with this attachment.
I wanted a clear snowboard stomp pad so I could see the graphics on the board. For now, it represents exactly what I was seeking. I know it will get scuffed over time, but for now, it is exactly what I needed. Yet I haven't been able to test it out, but I did put my boots on to see how the grip felt and I was very The product is great and it is so easy to use!.
Using the stomp pad, I just cruise my way through the lift with my foot on the thick pad. I feel safe getting on and off the lift when I'm in life. The size is perfect for my boots and the grip was perfect. Since the middle part is smooth, as well as round, I was worried that the grip would be inadequate, but it worked perfectly! I even used a circle sticker under it after I stuck it on my snowboard. I highly recommend it!.
I stayed on my board for about 12 hours to let it cure. Nothing to complain about. Everything worked as expected.
