There is 3M tape on it. You can try hitting the alcohol with a heat gun first so that it is relatively clean and untouched

The skin came off in some places

These were stuck on carefully, but some of them came off during the process. Though they don't look that bad.

What a sick picture! Thanks a lot, that works The best stomp pad ever! It went together easily and has a great look! I visited Cat the last time it was icing up, but pretty much any stomp pad would have been iced over in those conditions with half-melted snow being stomped into

A stomp pad made of plastic would be preferable to these

Snow does not limit the traction provided by these studs, since they are tall and sharp enough to give good grip. The fresh spring snow conditions at Big Sky weren't a problem for me. There are more studs than in most other stomp pads, so the pattern comes out larger. Over the years, plastic pads haven't satisfied me as much as these do.
