Is it possible for someone who rides with their right foot forward to use this board?

Yes! This board allows you to ride with either foot forward.

Is 160cm suitable for a 6'2" 165lb woman? This was purchased in conjunction with the cobra bindings. 11 is the size. Is that a good thing?

Yes, that's fine; I'd recommend 165cm if the rider values speed over maneuverability, but 160cm might be ideal if the rider values both!

Is there a metal edge on this board? They are required at the location where I work. ?

Yes, the edges are made of metal.

This snowboard is perfect for new or returning snowboarders

I bought it to get back into the sport after more than a decade away. The 161 Wide was a perfect fit for me at 6'1" and 230 pounds. The board has been ideal for reintroduction to snowboarding when paired with Burton Freestyle bindings and DC Phase boots. The most noticeable difference between this and my 20-year-old Rossignol board from the late 1990s is how this one refuses to catch an edge. It's extremely forgiving while still being able to "hold" the edge on fast carves. For a 30-year-old father who wants to rip but has to return to work on Monday, this is a huge confidence booster.

My husband adores his new board because it is fast and has a lot of detail on the toe. In the last eight days, I've ridden in it four times. It's impressive that the company purposefully left a small, decorative portion of the footboard unpainted (but of course varnished) so you can see your board as it was intended.

My first snowboard, and I've had a lot of fun with it this season; unfortunately, the season is coming to an end next week. My best piece of advice for all newbies like myself is this: To learn, watch YouTube videos or seek assistance from a friend. Next season, Moms and Dads, take your children and make wonderful memories with them. It is far too short to live.

Overall, a good beginner board; the flex is soft, the camber profile is great for getting on edge, and the wood on the top of the board looks cool in the sun

Turning is quick and simple. It's impossible to get a grip on the edge. When in direct sunlight, the picture does not do the design justice.

I'm an intermediate level rider (just riding at the park, no jumps or tricks), and I like this snowboard because it's "forgiving" and of good quality. This season, I've tried it a few times- love it! My wife and daughter purchased Rossignol snowboards as well, and they are pleased with their purchase.
