Questions & Answers

What type of person are you?

The Stauber Summit has a camber rocker camber profile, with camber under the toe and a rocker in the middle.

Who or what is stauber, exactly? Do you have a new business? Is it possible to have a physical location? I'm having trouble finding any information about your company or brand. ?

Is there anything else you'll need to buy besides this package?

The extruded base on our Stauber Summit snowboard means it requires less wax than a sintered base. Wax, on the other hand, is recommended for improved performance.

Is it a park board or an all-mound situation?

The shape of this board is hybrid profil. With a "Rocker" center, it bends "Camber" underfoot. In the parks or moguls, the camber gives it a poppy feel, while the rocker center keeps you from catching an edge in powder. The Stauber Summit has a medium degree of adaptability. For a visual representation of the shape, please see our image reference.

This board has been tested by a 25-year-old male with prior experience
5/5

I bought the 161 size because I'm 6'2" and 230 pounds, and this board handles my weight like a champ. I used it for nine days on a variety of mountains, including Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, and Aspen. Copper Mountain is a place in the United States where copper is I've taken it down Vail's legendary back bowls, Copper's terrain parks, and the most difficult double black diamonds each of those mountains has to offer, and I'm blown away by how well it performed. It's surprisingly light, and I can easily whirl the board around. This board's camber provides plenty of pop, and I can easily throw myself in and out of tight moguls. It's also a true twin board, so I can ride switch with ease. In the center, there's a rocker. On straight-aways, I can keep up with my skier friends thanks to the majority of the board's sections. ways. This is a fantastic board, and whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, it'll serve you well. I strongly advise you to use a mountain board.

Package for snowboarding
5/5

I rent a snowboard, boots, and bindings for each season. I was in the market for a new snowboard, and I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant about ordering one online, but the price was too good to pass up. I've made up my mind: I'm a true believer! This snowboard package is fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the price. I put this package to the test on the mountain yesterday and was blown away by the quality of the snowboard and bindings. The board's profile and binding structure made for a very comfortable ride; I never felt like I was going to catch an edge. This is an excellent purchase in my opinion. If you're looking for a board but don't want to break the bank, this is the one to get.

Overall, a great beginner board, though the bindings may be problematic (which is to be expected)
5/5

I've been snowboarding for about ten years and recently purchased this board as my first piece of personal property (rather than renting every year). Despite the abuse I've given it, this board has performed admirably. There is only minor (expected) wear on the edge and surface after multiple uses (I have now ridden it for around 10 full days of boarding total). The board's flex can withstand even the toughest trees. I was able to locate a couple of them. br>br>The bindings are the only issue I've had with the equipment. I took it out for its first run after customizing it to my liking (it comes with a setup guide and recommended angles for those who aren't used to putting on their own bindings). After about 10 hours of riding, I started to lose some turning mobility. The screws holding the bindings to the board, it turned out, had gotten water in them and were loosening. As a result, the binding began to turn in tandem with my foot, resulting in a couple of satisfying crashes. The problem was solved by simply retightening the screws with a screwdriver, but the problem persisted (and still does), requiring retightening at the end of each day. Note: This is a common problem with bindings, and some more experienced boarders suggested using screw tape to keep the melted snow out of the screw holes. I have not yet had the opportunity to test this, but I believe it will resolve the problem. br>br>Overall, this board is a good buy for those who aren't overly concerned with board perfection. This equipment is of very good quality for the price, and the lesser-known brand name has stood up to my tests. The rocker/camber style is ideal for both beginners and advanced riders, and the sharp edges seem to last longer than I anticipated. A good waxing may be required shortly after purchase, but for the first week or two, the factory wax will suffice. That sweet sweet pow is calling your name, so get out there and ride it.

The board was good but slick, and the binding straps got stuck on occasion
4/5

This was a personal purchase for me. I'm a beginner snowboarder, so I needed something that was both affordable and practical. The binding straps occasionally got stuck when I tried to unstrap to use the lift, which was the biggest issue I had with this board. There isn't even a stomp board - The board is extremely slick and has no traction. So, if you're riding down the ski lift, you might want to invest in some tacks to help you stay stable on the board. Aside from that, everything went smoothly. It's stylish, fits my height and weight perfectly, and the bindings only got stuck once in a while, which didn't ruin my day. I like how it's dual directional; I'm still figuring out which direction is best for me, so having a board that can do both while down the slope is very useful. The bindings' instructions were extremely helpful, particularly the beginner suggestions for screwing them in at various angles.

On my Stauber, I've been carving
5/5

The board and bindings are fantastic, and set-up was a breeze! The buckle ratchets are fantastic, and it's easy to get your boots in and out of the bindings. The board has a good balance of stiffness and suppleness. It's a fantastic all-around board at a fantastic price. I'm 6'2" and 195 pounds, and I chose the 161 for better cruising speed over a smaller size. I rode it this past weekend, and it carved the corduroy like butter. Is this a board setup that I would recommend? Yes, and I'll most likely get one for my daughter as well.
