Rub alcohol was used to remove any film on the board and then I stuck it on with a stick. After an entire season, they are still there. A heat gun is not needed. Make sure the room temperature or warmer is comfortable, and you shouldn't have any problems adhering.

Invisible adhesive is attached to the back of the sheet. According to the instructions, an adhesive backer is to be applied with a heat gun however, it does not mention a heat gun. The nails on my feet are relatively long for a guy, and I checked for an edge and was unable to find one. As soon as I placed it on the board, I saw some kind of residue, which led me to believe that it would just As soon as it was heated up, it stuck like a static charge My first trip to the slopes was complete with a cling sticker. They had popped off after one run. An experienced person examined a new set, then scratched at the edge for a few seconds, then revealed that the set had an invisible backer that wasn't Besides being invisible, she was also veiled.
When that was done, installation went smoothly, and it has held up well. It's partly my fault because I was an idiot, but it's also a little their fault for not putting a stamp on the backer and noting it.

Standing on my feet after getting off the lift makes me look much cooler. I have a fighting chance because of the stomp pad.
I ordered the green, but it showed up and was yellow-colored. The clear looks fantastic on our Never Summer Proto Type 2! (Sent back and ordered the clear and it was delivered quickly. After rubbing alcohol was applied to the new board, a hair dryer was used to heat it. If you remove the clear backing film, it will attach nicely and the colors of the graphics will show through.
My experience with the stomp pad has been positive so far. In the end, I liked that it was super clear because I like to be able to see the graphics on my board. Also, the fact that it is three pieces lets me keep them together or spread them out to increase the area of surface I have to I found the installation to be simple. You need to remove the clear backing from the stomp pad pieces in order to reveal the actual adhesive before applying heat and placing on your board. That isn't in the instructions, and it is easy to miss if you aren't aware of it or looking for it. As I plan on having this pad for a long time, we will see how it holds up once I get it out on the slopes this winter! Here's the update I have been on the slopes with it and it has not given me any problems. The slopes provide excellent traction and the scraper is top notch. There were no issues with the adhesion, which kept this thing rock solid. Dakine is doing it again with a good product.
We can use it on our new boards since it is clear and doesn't obscure the designs. These simple instructions are easy to understand. This is 1. Organize and clean your board.

This is an excellent product. The board is in perfect condition and I have not experienced any problems with it. Honestly, I am not sure it will ever come off. It is very strong and doesn't peel. it's so clear that you can't see it at all.
I pre heated a board spot with a heat gun, cleaned the area thoroughly, then carefully used a pad. I applied pressure for a couple minutes while waiting for the board to cool I've been hard riding and terrain park boarding for the last couple of weekends and the pad is stuck! The snow blades are super grippy and do an excellent job clearing snow! There are times when the skies are so clear it is hard to see. You will never need to know where it is if you put it next to a reference point. As soon as you sense it, you will know it. The fact that it is in three pieces allows you to customize your footprint or your pad all together.
