Yes, this board has been tuned down to be catch free so that the metal edges are not sharp.

Do you think it would be okay for a 4 year old to wear the 100cm?

There must be a bigger 130 in my 4 year old's body. Whenever she was three years old, she got it. It is 100 cm tall for my 2 years old. The child is five years of age. It is expected to last for a longer period

Is it necessary to have specific boots, or can any work?

You may need to do this depending on what age The snow boots I have are regular snow boots, but I also bought a toddler size boot that can fit my sister a few sizes larger than her normal size. They fit perfectly and you know how difficult it can be to get children into The one I have is 19 months old and just uses snow boots and tightens the bindings really well.

If you are unsure of the size, I would recommend getting a couple sizes bigger

There will be a phase when your child grows into this and then out of it. Purchase a larger than necessary size so they have room to grow and you don't have to replace it annually. Keeping the little one confined is so much fun with this, and the riglet attachment is a must. This enables them to go up and down the hill much more easily. I give this board 10 out of 10.

Until we found this snowboard (with all the features of an adult snowboard), it was the only one on the market that we could find. It is a very simple, yet beautiful design
