This bag is a solid buy for the price. It will save you lots of money on checked baggage fees. In one bag, we were able to store my board and all my snowboard clothing as well as my husband's board. We got the bag in the check-out line and got the message that it is not padded. However, as soon as you put snowpants and boots in the bag, the boards were well protected. Our board weight is 45 pounds, which is below the check-in limit of 50 pounds. It is very convenient to have the zipper run the length of the bag for packing. It is an awesome price and I am very pleased with it.
I needed something reliable that would endure all the abuse I would get from TSA. Overall, it is a very good bag for the price. I overpacked the bag and all the stitches held and the zipper is still working. As for the strap that came with the bag, it has cheaper quality clips but they haven't broken yet (maybe a set of heavy duty carabiners will replace the hooks, I would say that for under $40, you are not likely to find a better board bag. While I would have spent more and gotten a bag that was padded and fitted with rollers if I were going to fly more often with my board, for a one time flight and a bag I'm only going to use when I drive to the mountain, this is perfect.
I just needed a place to store my board and protect it, and this is the best deal you could find for the price (at $15). I like the zippers there is no padding, but the quality is good. In addition to fitting lots of stuff inside, it also comes with boots and a jacket.
In a previous post, I said to wrap the board edges and bindings with my snow gear and there was no tear in the bag. Including my snow gear, board, bindings, clothes, toiletries, and extra shoes, I could fit everything I needed for a 5 day trip in this bag. Adding some padding to the strap or using a luggage cart if you're going to make this bag heavy like I did is the only suggestion I have.
This bag can be skipped. In the second case, a non-victim has been identified The only padded bag I have ever bought and will never buy again. A couple of years passed between the first and second. this time the edge of the snowboard cut an opening in the bag immediately upon leaving the shop! You could no longer use it for a plane ride, and it was designed for snowboards. The carry handle should be able to hold a snowboard without cutting it. When you return to your car after a day trip, it might be okay if you're just trying to keep it clean and dry. Additionally, the bag is not to blame for getting heavy when loaded, but when empty, it is lightweight! With the replacement I buy, wheels will be included.
This bag has plenty of room for my 165 board with bindings mounted along with my boots, coat, pants, It was nice to have the zipper around the top, versus my other bag which had one down the middle, so it opened wide. The handle straps are too far apart, which places the board low when you are going up stairs, and the material feels lighter than.
I cannot imagine anything better for 30 bucks than this board bag. In addition to my board with bindings, boots, helmet, googles, and all outerwear, the bag fits all my belongings without any problem. You can pack it easily because the zipper runs the length of the bag. have not yet had a chance to use the bag this season, but the quality of the components looks good, so I don't expect any issues. My heart would beat faster if I had to buy again.
A pair of Faber S-type pencils belong to me Snowshoes with a line. While tubbs can often be found in big box stores, the S-shaped tube looks more like a They have been designed for gliding (take a look at the website of Faber). The handles are too long for the traditional snowshoe bag, and also too wide (and short) for the ski bag. A bit of a challenge to fit everything into the Element bag. Nevertheless, they make it so much easier for me to carry my Faber's, poles, and other items.
