Dakine Womens Mission 25Liter Snowboard and Ski Lifestyle Backpack

My first backpack was a Dakine I bought at a thrift store years ago. Even though it had been through a fire, and it was damaged in certain spots, it was still very cheap. What an excellent deal! I was blown away by the value. The bag held clothes I carried. During my flight, I crossed the Atlantic and the Pacific It has been taken to the country. As I was going to the grocery, I took bags of flour along with me. The durability was unmatched given how hard I am on my stuff. I have gradually replaced all my bags with Dakine because of that experience, and the bags have been as rugged and durable as I expected. In the wake of five years of hard work and a fire, the thrift store backpack finally gave up the ghost. My first impression is that I'm impressed so far. The Dakine backpack is built like a tank, just like the entirety of the Dakine brand. The front straps work well for me because I don't snowboard or skateboard, so I can attach my sweater or coat to them so they don't take up space in There is only infrequent use for the front organizer pocket on this bag, and in fact I wish it didn't exist, but I use all the others, and I love where those pockets are situated. It is also good to have the laptop sleeve, although I wish the access was more direct. A well-cared for dog would also be a great addition to my life There was also an opening for an attached carabiner, so I could keep my water bottle attached on the exterior. Overall, it was a great buy, well worth the money. I look forward to seeing how this bag will hold up over time. Quite a long time might pass before I need to replace it.

I searched high and low for a backpack that was big enough to accommodate my Carver surfskate (my widest skateboard), but also didn't look so plain/utilitarian or masculine. This backpack has many storage compartments and hidden pockets that will make traveling easier. I tested it with a towel inside the backpack before I placed my skateboard inside it to see how it would interact with my foot when empty. Once I put the towel in, I could walk normally without the tail hitting things. In the straps, the Carver Firefly fits comfortably without slipping. The straps are wide enough to hold the firefly securely in place. In addition, the chest strap and waistbelt assist in keeping the bag stable and weight distribution even despite the weight of the board.

For students going to university, this backpack is ideal. Although I'm taking 16 upper level courses, I don't have to unpack it every semester to fit another textbook. Besides the padding on the back, the chest and hip straps allow you to walk from class to class for long periods of time without straining your back. While riding my bicycle, I mainly use the straps to keep my backpack upright so that it doesn't sway from side to side as I ride. Not only are the straps there for safety reasons, but they are also pretty awesome-looking. In order to avoid any discomfort or damage to the hips, they are thick enough so the weight is evenly distributed. My skateboard or longboard is also strapped to the back of my bike. It's inevitable that the grip tape will snag on the cloth, but that is the case Having my board flipped around when I need to works just fine and the strap stays in place just fine. My favorite part of the bag are the fleece lined pockets since I trust them with all of my electronics and glasses. I personally wish I'd gone with a different print because I'm not a big fan of camo prints and this one registers as a camouflage pattern, but that's my fault and I still think it's an attractive pack. The fabric dye leaves a strong odor behind on this item The product also would have been better with a hook so it could be hung on doors, and that it would not fall over easily when placed on its bottom. As these considerable complaints aside, I think it's an attractive bag, well built, seems comfortable (I have not loaded it heavily with items and gone long distances, this will serve only as a lunch and random sack at work) and does what it's supposed to do. With all the pockets and separate compartments to store things, I find this to be a very practical product. It is probably something I would purchase * NOTE *UPDATE It was the only one provided to me by my employer for lunch and a library book for example. I bought it on 02/15 and discovered a hole/rip along one of the seams. At this point, I am very disappointed.
