Questions & Answers

Is it possible to fit two boards with bindings in it?

Yes. Two boards will fit in the bag.

With the boots, jacket, pants, and helmet, how heavy is this bag?

The bag itself weighs about 7 pounds, so add that to the total weight of your gear.

Something else stained my bag on the plane as I returned from a trip. Has anyone had any (successful) cleaning experience with these?

Simply replace it.

Is it safe to check this bag on a plane?

Yes, I checked my board on both sides of the trip from Phoenix to Denver, and it was in good shape. Is this the highest-quality bag available? No. However, I needed a low-cost way to transport my snowboard to Denver. You may experience different results depending on your location. In order to protect my board, I also included my boots and snow gear.

After a season, the bag was completely ripped
3/5

This bag was purchased to accompany me on snowboarding trips to Park City and Whistler, British Columbia. It worked perfectly and had plenty of room for all of my belongings. The shoulder strap loop, on the other hand, was loose and frequently came undone. It's not a big deal; I'll simply replace it. br>br>The issue was that when I got home from my last trip (Whistler), I discovered that an entire side of the bag had ripped open. Fortunately, none of the items were spilled. It was disappointing to see because the bag only lasted one season, despite the fact that the Amazon descriptions touted its durability. br>br>I took the bag to a shoe shop to see if it could be repaired. The guy gave me a quote of $65, which is roughly the cost of a new bag. Thank you, but no thanks. I then emailed the company to complain about the bag's lack of durability, but have yet to receive a response. That is what inspired me to write this review. br>br>However, if you don't travel much to snowboard, this may be sufficient. However, don't expect it to last very long if you plan on taking multiple trips per year. I despise the idea of a disposable snowboarding bag, but that's exactly what mine was.

For a reasonable price, you can get top-tier performance
3/5

EDIT: It's been in my possession for a few weeks, but I've only kept it in the freezer. As if it were made of a Kit Kat bar, one of the zippers broke. I haven't even ventured into the snow or used the zipper more than a couple of times. It's been kept indoors on thick carpet, so I'm confident the zipper hasn't been abused. I'm going to wax some of the other zippers to prevent them from catching. As other reviewers have stated, it is a good price for a bag. br>br>So, it is a good price for a bag. The fact that it's just a bag is something I don't understand. There's nothing about this or any other snowboard bag that qualifies it as a multi-hundred dollar bag. Apart from keeping it from being bumped, it doesn't do much else. Like most other bags, it has some thin padding on the sides. There is no real layer of protection, such as a gun case or a drone case (there is no eva foam). br>br>It is *NOT A 180 sized bag* as advertised, as my 171 wide snowboard barely fits lengthwise, so be prepared to return it if you have a large board. It can accommodate the majority of your belongings. There is only one board with bindings, and it is a tight fit. The zippers aren't as strong as they should be. Expect them to break after a few uses, or lubricate them with wax or oil or treat them to some sort of treatment to help them last longer than their short lifespan. It's great that there are so many pockets. For carrying, there are two solid straps. The long shoulder strap appears to be of poor quality, but it can easily be replaced with something more substantial. However, if you're looking for a bag to store your board for the two times you go during the season, this is the bag for you. Just be gentle with it. very delicately.

2 stars because the item was great the two times I used it while it was fully functional
5/5

*UPDATE*. I only used the item twice before the clip that connects the shoulder strap to the bag snapped on. I expected to get more than two uses out of this item when I bought it, so I now have to tie the shoulder strap to the bag by hand, then untie it every time I check the bag in at an airline. 2 stars because the item was great the two times I used it while it was fully functional. EDIT: br>br> Without hesitation, Athletico sent me a new shoulder strap. I'm hoping the faulty shoulder strap that came with it was the only flaw in the bag because the rest of it is fantastic.

If it's in the air, it'll undoubtedly rip
3/5

The bag appears to be of good quality for the price, but the boot pocket ripped before it even left the house after I packed it with my snowboarding gear (board, backpack, bindings, and boots). I didn't have time to get another before my trip, but I was fortunate in that the outer cloth ripped open to the padding in such a way that the boot remained secure inside the bag. The other boot pocket ripped open to the padding after a one-way flight with the bag, and the outer cloth has some minor cuts from baggage handlers. Everything appeared to be in good working order, but with multiple tears in the bag after just one trip, I doubt it will last much longer. With that said, there is a lot of room and the low price may be justified.

It's ideal for recreational purposes
5/5

The 180cm bag is primarily used to store my 165cm board at home and while driving to and from the hill. My board, bindings, boots, helmet, goggles, pants, and coat are all stored in this bag. gloves with plenty of room When compared to no bag or an unpadded bag, this adds some extra protection. I don't have any air. I traveled with this bag, and if I were to fly frequently, I would invest in a nicer bag. br>As others have mentioned, the stitching where the shoulder straps attach is pretty weak, so if you're loading down the bag, it might be an issue (the other handles, on the other hand, are very sturdy). In general, I believe the stitching, material, and other aspects of the product will hold up to my use. I've put it to use for a couple of things. At this point, there have been five seasons. br>br>Overall, I believe it is a good deal. With my recreational use, it should last a long time.

Functionality and value are excellent
5/5

The prices of snowboard bags vary greatly, but after reading the reviews and learning more about the product, I decided to try Athletico's snowboard bag. For a fully equipped trip to Park City, I needed two bags. My two main concerns were enough room for all of our belongings and protection of our belongings during the luggage loading process. In the end, this bag FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. There was enough room for two pairs of boots, googles, a helmet, clothes, and the snowboard; we were showing signs of wear after five days of snowboarding, but these bags looked brand new. I would highly recommend this bag because it is of excellent quality, has a stylish design, and is reasonably priced.

This bag's advantages and disadvantages
4/5

It's a great bag that's easy to spot. I was able to bind both of my 156-inch boards. Boots. As well as a few other things.
Pros: br>Extremely roomybr>Easy to store in a closetbr>Easy to put togetherbr>Cons: br>This bag can get heavy, and the straps can break. br>It would be nice if there were optional wheels. br>The handles are only on the top. It's not as difficult to drag you along on the sides.
