Selected User Reviews For Volk Ski Strap and Pole Carrier 2 Pack - Skiing Accessory for Easy Transportation of Your Ski Gear - Feel Comfortable Walking to and from The Mountain - Adjustable Size Great for Men, Women and Kids
As I frequently take my kids to the mountain, I would like to make the load of equipment easier to haul to the lifts and ski school. In order to determine which straps would be best for me and my kids, I tried out four at home while I put them on our skis. On the whole, Bowtie was the easiest and most compact to use, and are likely to be the most convenient for my kids. As opposed to Bowtie skis, Sklon and Volk separated the skis from the poles, and were virtually identical, except for the padded strap on Sklon and the thinner rubberized strap on Volk. If you need any of the three, I would recommend them all. As a result, I would not recommend YSST over the others because it did not do a good job of separating the skis from the poles. I also found it more difficult to insert the skis and poles into the Velcro straps. Due to the fact that I have only used them at home, I am guessing durability. The following are the winners (based on design, ease of access, and use case) of the four software programs I tested The easiest and fastest way is through a bow tie. Children who are young will find it easiest to use I like bowties. In keeping with the trend, my youngest got a second pair. ***Bowtie is the most compact. This is the one I recommend for someone who has to carry it all day in a coat pocket after getting to the hill.
Best for The result of Volk / Sklon is The pole straps on both of these nearly identical straps travel away from your skis, so your poles remain separate. If you lace it up tightly and carry the Bowtie up the hill hand-carrying, it will not do this, but if you tighten it well and take your time, it probably won't matter. In the end, I went with the Sklon for my own poles and planks. This handbag is best for carrying on your person I like bowties. Sklon and Volk have large buckles that prevent the carry strap from centered fully, as a result of which, it is difficult to make it compact at its most compact state. If you wish to carry the skis vertically while carrying them over your shoulder, use (If you prefer a padded strap) Sklon (if your preferred strap contacts your shoulder) Volk (if you prefer a functional thin tactile strap facing the shoulder). Thank you for reading it! I hope it Take advantage of the mountain scenery!.
Fortunately, we finally had a good ski day last weekend when I didn't need to carry Now I don't have to be a gentleman and carry the girls' skis around - finally there is Once I traded in my skis for a snowboard, I thought I finally wouldn't have to deal with skis or walking in those dreadful boots, but when I saw how easy it was for my daughters to use. There's a good chance that my girls will have to ski one more season.
This set of ski straps was purchased to carry skis for myself and my girlfriend (between the two of us, we have three pairs). Based on reviews I read on Amazon, I was unsure whether to go with the Volk or the Sklon models, since the reviews state the models It is only the strap that is different. A rubberized strap is available on the Volk while padded straps are available on the Sklon. The Volk came two for $25, which was cheaper than the Sklon per pair, and I judged my purchase based on the price (the Volk came two for $25, which was cheaper than the Sklon per pair). This product arrived promptly, was well packaged, and the instructions and setup were easy following the basic guide provided with it. In my opinion, the product appears to perform as advertised and is of high quality. In two places, a rubberized protector wraps around the ski. These wrapped areas are linked by a strap. The ski pole attachments are built into each wrapped area. have installed the product on two pairs of Head Supershape iTitan in 177 length (very heavy skis) and it has worked She has also expressed satisfaction with the product for her skis, even though she is 5'1". Although it would be a great product, I would recommend users be mindful of their skis while using it, since one doesn't want to hit anything with their skis (and thus damage them.
This ski pole bag was sold to me because it had separate loops to carry ski poles, as well as rubber grips to prevent scratches. Almost as much as the double set was a single set that I bought at the same time. It has now become obvious to me that I would have never purchased Sklon carriers if I had known the quality of these carriers. While the Sklon is well made and would look good packed in a jacket pocket, it is not as compact as would be necessary just to keep skis and poles in it. The extra value provided by these carriers does not make up for a price nearly twice as high as the Volk carriers, in my opinion. I can count on these carriers to do everything I ask of them.
The straps that I bought were in hopes that they would keep their gear together so they could carry it more easily. I like the fact that these straps are of decent quality, they are padded so that they don't rub against my skis, and I like that it has straps that allow for attaching One of my kids has Volkl skis and these straps are only one letter off from those on his skis. This was the main reason I chose these over other brands on the market. Due to the fact that these are straps that wrap around the skis, it appears that the L is just hiding on the other side, making them look as if they are actual Volkl.
I like how they're functional and that they seem well constructed and durable. A few poles slide around since the pole hook cannot be tightened, so it is no surprise that I have one complaint. To me, it would be better if the pole loop was rubber with Velcro like the rest of the pole instead of a However it is, it makes carrying the skis or poles easier than before, which is why I recommend this product.
Since I have had the past year to use them, I have been really satisfied with this product. Considering that my son and I are new skiers, we were searching for easy ways to transport our equipment from the parking lot to ski lifts or from the ski lift to the parking lot, and these do the job well and fit easily into a backpack! The quality of the build is really nice A set of rubberized bands goes around the skis and fixes them When the poles are strapped in, there is a little give to them, but it is not a big deal. These ski and pole carriers are the most convenient choice if you are looking for ski and pole carriers.
