Yes, it's been a hot summer for us. There will be 35 days with a low of minus 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
I wouldn't use it because it's too hot. I'd wash it on the cold gentle cycle and then hang it to dry.
It's likely that it's returnable for free.
I'm 5'3" and weigh 115 pounds, and I'm wearing a small, which is form-fitting but not too tight. Only if you want a baggy fit that hides your figure would I recommend a medium. I hope you find this information useful.

I was initially dubious about it because it felt cheap. As a result, I sent it back and placed an order for a replacement. After only one day, the same thing happened. That one, as well, I returned. To cut a long story short, I contacted The North Face Company, who informed me that Amazon and eBay were not among their trusted vendors. Which I'm not complaining about on Amazon because I adore it. However, I bought the same jacket from The North Face's website and received a much higher-quality zipper, which I noticed IMMEDIATELY. You could tell something was wrong. And it hasn't been a problem at all. So that's something to think about. This jacket is fantastic. br>br> I've never owned a completely waterproof jacket before, and with all of the rain we've been getting in Washington, that is certainly the case. It's cozy, warm, and has a plethora of pockets, which I adore. I like to wear them both separately and together. The inside jacket is adorable and exactly my style, while the outside jacket is both functional and adorable.
I like this jacket a lot more than I thought I would. I needed a three-bedroom house. 1 and having trouble finding one that would keep me warm in the snow while also allowing me to wear the inner portion in the spring and fall. What's the point of a jacket like this if you're not going to wear the liner? The lack of cuffs on the sleeves worried me a little. I was hesitant to purchase this jacket because I was afraid it would irritate me. It isn't an issue because they fit well enough. I usually wear a medium (5'8" and 145) and ordered both a medium and a large due to the way they run and the fact that I'd want to wear a sweatshirt underneath it. The medium isn't too small, but it is form-fitting when worn with a bulky sweatshirt (which I like). On me, the large was far too big and frumpy.
This coat was really nice, but I also tried the triclimate carto jacket and preferred this one by a long shot because it had so much more detailing than that one. You got a basic shell with the carto, but this one has vents and has been more carefully designed. The grey and pink color scheme was very appealing to me. With the exception of the cut, I liked everything about it. I have a feminine hourglass figure, and I noticed that this one and the carto are almost masculine in shape. The shoulders are very broad, and the hips are very narrow. This coat did fit me, but it was a little tight around my thighs. I ended up returning both coats and opting for a Ralph Lauren shell from TJ Maxx that has a more feminine shape.
It's not overly bulky, and it's toasty warm. The fit was perfect, and the jacket is of good quality; the inner "Osito" jacket is extremely soft, but it sheds a little at first. My advice is to be cautious about how you wash this inner jacket - Gentle cycle, and air dry if possible, as hot air from the dryer can cause the material to pill (I've had this problem with Osito jackets in the past). This amount will see me through the winter and into the spring.
I'm 5'4" and 147 pounds, and I ordered a large so I could layer for the colder months. I believe a medium would have sufficed as well. I noticed the inside Osito layer sheds quite a bit, as other reviewers have mentioned. I gave it a quick wash in cold water and hung it to dry. Since then, everything has been fantastic.
And, believe me, it's incredible. It is 100% genuine name brand! The coat appears expensive, it feels so soft and luxurious on the inside, and it is so warm! The only criticism I have is that it is a little too loose. Normally, a medium fits me perfectly, but this coat gives me plenty of room! I could have bought a small and it would have fit perfectly, but since winter is approaching, I don't want to go through the hassle of exchanging it, and the price was also fantastic! I paid $150, but the official price tag on the coat said $280 when I received it! More than a 50% discount has been offered! It appeals to me. This purchase has made me extremely happy! If you're looking for a unique way to.
I went with the XL because I prefer loose-fitting jackets. fitting. It was a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'3" and usually wear a size 12). If it gets really cold outside, I can still wear another layer underneath. I adore how easily the soft inner jacket can be attached and detached. You'll be able to wear each piece separately or all at once. The inner jacket is extremely soft and features zippered pockets (I adore zippered pockets!). It's an ideal, sporty windbreaker without the lining. Paying a little more for better quality is well worth it.
I can easily take the inside out and wear it at work as well. The only drawbacks are that the inside layer sheds a lot and appears to be larger than the outside layer, so when I put it on, the inside layer bunches up and I end up with a lot of material where my hands are at the end.
