This is without a doubt one of the warmest jackets I've ever owned. I've worn it in Alaska in subzero temperatures with a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie underneath; it's quite warm, thanks to the windproof design. Warmth is effectively maintained thanks to the fleece hood with velcro and fleece inner lining.
They are true to size; I ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly; this jacket is available in US sizes. However, if you want to wear more layers under this jacket or prefer a looser fit, you might need to order a size up. style that is appropriate
Yes, it seems to work well so far, with reinforced stitching in the armpits, strong metal zippers, and a well-made construction that appears to last for years. It has a lot of pockets and fits me perfectly. I really like this jacket, and the fleece lining keeps me warm in the winter. I'd buy it again if the opportunity arose.
Yes, it works well as a ski jacket; the water-resistant fabric and quick drying properties kept me dry during my skiing trip; the soft fleece lining is super warm and comfortable, providing adequate warmth for a ski mountain climate; and all of the large pockets are well-designed for my equipment, making it very nice and functional. I'd suggest it.

I'll start by stating that I don't ski, snowboard, or participate in any other winter sports. In fact, I despise winter and am unable to tolerate the cold. So you're probably wondering why I'm writing a review for this coat. I've grown to despise winter as I've grown older because of how cold I get when I'm outside, even for a short time. I'm from Chicago, and those of you familiar with our weather know how cold and snowy it can get here. I was looking for a warm winter coat that would work well in temperatures ranging from 18 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I have a coat that will keep me warm in temperatures as low as 18 degrees Fahrenheit. People from Canada, Minnesota, and Wisconsin provided the most helpful reviews for me. etc. If they give this coat their seal of approval, I'm all for it. It did exactly what they said it would do, according to the description. Unfortunately, I won't be able to test this in temperatures below 18 degrees because I believe the worst of our winter is behind us. The weather has been cold and snowy for the past two weeks, but it has held up well for what I needed it to do. The jacket is windproof but allows for some ventilation, so it isn't completely windproof. Depending on wind gusts and temperature drops caused by the wind, which is a major factor in this situation. During the stretch of 18 to 20 degree days we had, I wore a thin sweatshirt underneath, which kept me warm. The sweatshirt also served as a test to see if there was enough room without being too tight, and if it was comfortable. I was also looking for a stylish and classy jacket that didn't fall into the puffy coat trend, which makes you look like one of the Zoolander cast members. If I had to criticize anything about this coat, it would be the hood and the yellow lettering. I don't usually wear hoods, but this one is ridiculously large for some reason. It's annoying when it's windy because the size causes it to hit you in the side of the face; the yellow lettering makes me sound harsh, but I would have chosen gray or black instead. The color yellow makes the coat appear as if you work for a large corporation that can afford to purchase these coats for all of their employees. I get it. It's all about promoting your brand; overall, I adore this coat and it fulfills all of my requirements. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a coat that only has a name like North Face. I've never owned a North Face coat, but I imagine it to be very similar to this one. This coat was an excellent purchase, and I am very pleased with it.
I am 5'7" tall, weigh 165 pounds, and have a chest measurement of 40" and a waist measurement of 33". I ordered a medium and it's the perfect fit. The ability to tighten the bottom hem around my hips is appealing to me. Because I am Asian, the sleeves are about 2" longer for me, but that is not a problem because of the elastic cuff. I've ordered size small in other light jackets and they've fit perfectly, so I was considering returning the medium for a small, but after trying on the medium, I realized that the small would be far too tight for me. I hope that this information is more useful than simply stating that this is a fantastic product. In fact, this jacket is far more valuable than its purchase price. I have not yet worn this in a bitterly cold climate, but I will update you when I do. Signed: AYM.
This jacket is perfect for me. My wife and I each purchased our own version of the jacket, and it has performed admirably in our tests thus far. br>br>We've been snowshoeing in temperatures ranging from the mid-twenties to the low-twenties, and it feels great to be comfortable in your warm-weather gear. The jacket was too warm on uphills where you're working hard, so we take it off when we're working hard to reduce sweat. But, as soon as we stopped for lunch or started our descent as the sun began to set, I was surprised at how quickly putting on the jacket made me feel better. br>br>I'm a warm person, but my wife is a cold person, so we had a similar experience. On top of that, I'm wearing only a few layers, such as a mid-layer and a long-sleeved shirt. a medium-weight thermal long-sleeve T-shirt, and a light wool short-sleeve T-shirt t-shirt throughout my activity I was nice and toasty because the jacket goes right over it without any additional layers. It has a fluffy lining around the shoulders, back, and sides that is extremely comfortable. br>br>We've worn the jackets through light snowfall and cold light rain, and we're pretty confident in their water resistance. Every garment, I'm sure, has its limitations, but I'll gladly rely on this jacket for now, and we'll see what happens. br>br>The cost-to-benefit ratio is a measure of how much money it costs to get something done. The price/quality ratio is fantastic. I really like this jacket, and it's not too expensive. My recommendation is to order a couple of sizes to ensure a proper fit. I didn't want it to be too tight because I wanted to be able to add some layers underneath. Medium is my true size, and it fit me perfectly with plenty of room. I'm 5'10", 180 pounds, and have a 41-inch chest, so a large was way too big for me.
I do my job outside. It maintains my body temperature throughout the day.
This is without a doubt one of the best jackets I've ever bought. For years, I haven't had a good winter coat. I used to wear a leather one, but now that I have an allergy to the cold, I needed something more. If I don't find it, I'll be damned. It's cozy and warm, and it's a perfect fit. The garment is well-made and stylish. This is a company from which I will make future purchases. 5 stars!.
I'm used to having to buy medium-sized coats because small-sized coats are rarely available in stores. Big coats are nice because they allow for a lot of layers, but the side pockets are difficult to line up with one's hands. This is the first time I've worn a small size in a long time, and I immediately noticed how much more snug it fits. Uh- Oh, and will I be able to layer it with a sweater? Probably. The tighter fit is something I'm not used to. However, this is most likely how a coat should be worn. When a winter coat is too big, it's difficult to maintain the air pocket that acts as a natural insulate between self and coat. My rent room would be too warm if the air had too much movement. This is exactly what I was expecting. I weigh 130 pounds and stand 5'4" tall. I noticed other size references in reviews, so you should be able to get a good size reference for your size; the construction appears to be durable, and I did buy the green one, which was 49 when I looked. The other colors were all 69, with 95 being the most popular. The only reason I went for green was because it was my favorite color. The green was the same price the next day as the others. Fate? I went with it because all of the recent eat reviews were in the 5 star range.
