The Balder is a good mid-range model. Bib made of weight.
There isn't a single fly.
They're thicker and more durable in every way. I'm a gill netter and wouldn't want to be any other way.
Selected User Reviews For Grundens Balder 504 Bib Pant - Orange/Black - Large
Even in hot weather, this fishing bib performs admirably, with no leaks or tears after weeks of fishing and processing. The large fit me well, even if it was a little baggy, but hey, it's a bib. I am 6'3" and 200 pounds, and the large fit me well, even if it was a little baggy, but hey, it's a bib. It has to be baggy if you want to kneel comfortably and move freely without having to adjust your pant legs every time you kneel, especially if you're up to your neck in fish flopping around on deck. They kept me 100% dry and comfortable on hot sunny days as well as on less postcard worthy days of whipping wind and monsoon-like days- in the same way The fold on the inside The over pocket is a nice touch, and it's made of the same material as the bib, so you can rest assured that your belongings will be safe if you don't go swimming. They also have a cross strap from the suspenders that goes over your chest, which may seem unnecessary until you need to go to the bathroom and get back into your suit. When you undo the front buckles to do your business, the cross strap keeps the suspenders at your neck instead of letting them fall to the deck and getting covered in fish slime. When you're done, just grab the straps that are right on your neck and pull them back down and buckle in while you watch everyone else twist their backs trying to find their straps behind them on the ground and try to put them back on while you watch. Grundens pays close attention to the smallest of details.
They were bought for a fishing trip in Alaska, and they were put to the test every day I was there. They were able to withstand the abuse that comes with handling fish, tackle, and other similar items. I'm sure they'll last me decades before I have to replace them. br>br>I'm a 180 pound - I'm a 6' tall guy, so I'd get a Medium rather than a Large in the Balder 504 bibs. Although I prefer slimmer fitting clothing, they worked well oversized. The matching hooded jacket [Balder 302] was a good fit for my build (size large).
These are designed to be worn over regular pants; therefore, order your regular size.
I wear a 34-inch pant that I have to pull all the way up into my crotch in order to move. The crotch would otherwise be far too low.
Fit Perfect also ordered a matching jacket, which keeps you warm and dry when worn together.
It's perfect for working on my oyster farm.
Place a small baggie inside the bag.
Excellent craftsmanship. One of the heaviest duty bibs available that isn't completely unsightly. Use them frequently and replace them every six months, or take good care of them and get up to a year out of them. I buy a new pair every six months and wear them about six days a week all year, and I've never been disappointed.
