Simply remove the plastic protector sheet from one side of the warm pad to use this product. It does not have a sticky side, and you simply insert each pad into the bottom of your shoe. You can put it in your sock, but I wouldn't recommend putting it in direct contact with your skin. It's possible that you're overheating. Through my thin sock, I was far too warm. Within the slipper, this pad can be moved around.

That is simply a matter of personal taste. The insole warmers will warm your entire foot, whereas the toe warmers will only warm your toes. Give both of them a shot.

We spend up to ten hours a day in our boots. I ran out of my usual Grabber heat packs during this winter's record-breaking cold spell, and I couldn't find them with Prime shipping (and I needed them fast), so I ordered a case of HotHands Insole Foot Warmers. They do provide warmth, but the main issue, and it is a major issue, is that the adhesive isn't sticky enough to keep your socks attached to your boots when you put them on. When even the tiniest amount of strain is applied to them, they keep sliding out of position or simply detach. If you go through with it, the pad will get bunched up under your instep, at your toes, and in other places in the most inconvenient way possible. You can't ski if this thing isn't in the right position. The workaround is to pry your boots open to their widest opening by pulling the tongue forward as far as possible, spreading the sides as far as possible, and then slipping your foot into the gap and onto the inside base of your boot with extreme caution. Docking a star fighter is similar, but much more difficult. The Grabbers brand, on the other hand, do not require any adhesive and simply slip into your boot with your foot inside. easy. The heater will not interfere with you taking off and putting on your boots. With this adhesive type, that will not be the case. So, heat is good for this brand, but mechanics aren't.

This product disappointed me because the insole is VERY SMALL, and it will only fit a very small foot size. I wore these with black Heat Warmers socks before going to work. I was about to put the other pair of these under my right foot when I realized something. I could feel the heat as it was quickly warming up. br>It was still hot when I walked to the nearest bus stop. This is fantastic. But it got to the point where I had to take it off because it was too hot. br>This is ideal for when it's bitterly cold outside and there's a lot of rain in the SF Bay Area during the winter. Another suggestion is that this product may be beneficial to food workers who work in extreme cold temperatures. br>I also recommend wearing thick socks. It also lasts for 9 hours, so it can be used for an entire work shift.
