Trying to get up the first time, my wife was skeptical, since my 155-pound weight specification was so high. The skis were a perfect fit for her, considering her weight of 135 pounds. Foot bindings will not allow our feet to stay in them! Neither of us have ever wakeboarded before. In any case, I believe you should be able to keep your bindings on with lace locks. Our riders regularly have their feet coming out of the bindings, so we have to cut the ride short 30% of the time. We can't keep our feet locked in so it rides fine, plus the wheels rotate.
There is a lot of value here for the money. Despite my desire to get back to wakeboarding (I normally just water ski), I wasn't willing to break the bank for it. It fit me great, easy to get out of the water and ride. Would recommend for anybody new to surfing or a casual rider looking for an inexpensive board. I am 6'0", 230 pounds, size 13 shoes, and the board was perfect for my height.
Boots come already assembled, and you can rotate them to meet the needs of each rider. My weight is 150 pounds, so it rode well for me. The carving was perfect, and the glide was just right. I definitely recommend.
As far as I can tell, things are going well. The shirt fits my 11 year old and 12 year old kids It is the 19th day of spring and all are waking.
There is a problem with the pull string tightening system on the boots. There is too much tension on some parts of the riders foot while there is not enough on others. The boots therefore do not feel comfortable during riding and are not very secure either.
This board was able to handle first-time riders weighing from 140 to 255 pounds without any problems.
